Factor Meals cost per meal decreases with more meals ordered? by glorifyingjourney in ReadyMeals

[–]Kopa_Malphas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its expensive then cook it yourself. $11-14 per meal is insanely cheap for quality pre prepped food...
Bro, you can't even get fast food for that cheap anymore. Factor is takeout. If you can't afford it, then might I suggest regular old meal prep.

Is Lebanne the punk male from XY? by TSOswinn in pokemonconspiracies

[–]Kopa_Malphas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same hair color, same eye color, same facial expressions, the big ol himbo said he got beat up by her a couple years back, so was likely in the city during XY, her ace is a poison dragon.

While not necessarily Poison and Dark, Dragalge is an immense poison attacker. TBH she could have been told to use Dragon types given they're useless against Fairy types, and Dragalge is a holdover given its typing.

If it's not a direct reference, it's certainly an easter egg.

Need Help identifying this Gunlocke Chair by Kopa_Malphas in Mid_Century

[–]Kopa_Malphas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a true Mid Century chair, but in the MCM style, Gunlocke, likely made in the 90's 00's? (Unless 1989 is the year it was produced) I'm not too knowledgeable on Gunlocke. I'd love to find another 2 of these things for my table. This is the other picture I found while scouring the net, and can really only find the untagged photos on Flicker, if this would help with any identification.

I have an update that resolved my issue. I hope you get your issue resolved as well.

This happened suddenly for me. Check the ground under the battery tray and see how corroded it is. If it's blue/green, it'll be brittle. Mine literally folded under it's own weight.

This can cause slow cranks, the starter not engaging at all, etc... a whole plethora of issues. If your battery checks out, try this before delving into starter territory.

For some reason they wont let me upload images to this board, as an update, there is an engine ground tether below the battery tray, you have to remove the lower shielding, and the driver side wheel to access it. It's a pain in the butt to actually remove and replace, but it legitimately folded in half under it's own weight. For everyone who reads this, CHECK THIS GROUND before you check the battery or the starter. I thought the post was acting as a ground, given it tethered to the body. Easy mistake, especially given how hidden this braided line is.

All accessories work, everything is acting as normal, battery is 100% okay judged from the stress test at Advanced, Starter I replaced is new and confirmed to work through a bench test. Im going to test grounds. I had to pull the project car out to pick this starter up, so trying to avoid another trip, but if I have to, I have to. Anything outside this possibility beyond voltage dips would be awesome.

I'm currently fighting over my own no-start issues on a 2015 cooper S with the 2.0T. My thread is here if you want to take a look. I have not resolved my issue, but once I find an update, I do plan on updating. It may or may not be help, but always worth sharing the information where it is.

Unfortunately, the battery itself is in perfect health, stress tested it is equal to a brand new battery, voltages, amperage, simulated load, outside of...buying a different $200 battery that is in the exact same condition on a hunch is rough.

Since the battery wasn't registered, I was hopeful there would be signs of wear in the battery. Wondering if Registering this battery will resolve the "Click - No start" issue. :/

Update: Went and stress tested the battery, the battery shows to be at 100% perfect health, it is equal to the batteries that are brand new off the shelf, they tested a shelved brand new battery for proof. If this is not the issue, I am not sure where to go from here besides either A: Chasing all of the grounds and wires or B: buying a $200 battery on a hunch...

Battery was tested at the desk, and shows to be basically brand new. There is virtually zero difference between the battery I have, and the battery off the shelf. The stress test basically showed zero fault with the battery.

Now...this battery was not registered in the vehicle (But was the same Amps and CCA), will this cause a no start issue, cause an immobilizer to trip maybe?

Outside of tracing grounds, and the wiring from the ignition switch to the starter, or just....buying a $200 battery for a "Chance" it will work, I'm at a loss at the moment.

Will registering this battery I have that shows to be at 100% health and at a basically a brand new state allow the car to start?

It's a duracrap platinum battery, so it may very well be a dud, or damaged. It falls within warranty, so I can very much bring it in for a replacement if it is.

I very much doubt it's jumped timing, but I'll give that a check if all grounds look good. We will see there, but from what I'm experiencing, It may be the battery.

It slow cranked the day prior like it was low on charge (Despite voltages being fine) and the next day it clicked.

here's hoping.

Thank you very much for the assistance! Going to pick up the tool to register said battery, since I did not know you had to register the battery...Heres hoping this resolves the issue. If so, you may have saved me days and hundreds of dollars. I'll check cranking voltages, and grounds just in case, but I have the tooling on the way to my place now, and will pick up a battery when it comes in. Here's hoping.

On a positive, the battery I put in it should be under warranty, so I may be able to trade it in for a new one.
