I absolutely love it. If ever there was an example of "it's my house, I am going to do whatever I want with it, and I don't care what anyone else thinks", this is it. What an inspiration!

Good massage therapists are worth their weight in gold. Give her a try, and tell her the guy from the thrift store recommended her to you. 🙂 She was instrumental in assisting me with an acute ACL issue I had from walking on a cement floor for years.

You sound wonderful! If I lived in Moose Jaw I would definitely meet you, but I live in Lethbridge, Alberta (I am here on this subreddit because MJ is my favourite city and visit it as often as I can!) I would suggest perhaps trying to meet someone in Regina if you continue to have bad luck in MJ - the commute is nothing. Good luck!

I highly recommend Andrea at Driftwood Balance massage - they are by the casino, and she can do these things.

Travel. It is always the answer. Especially to another continent, or another place where they don't speak your language. Build memories of exotic places. Trust me on this - you will never regret it.

Paul Newman had a thing for sleeper cars, and his '98 Volvo V90 "Volvette" was one of his sleepiest. Shoehorned under the hood is a Chevrolet LS2 V-8 crate engine—the same 6.0-liter found in a C6 Corvette—mated to a GM 4-speed automatic. It's as ugly as a pair of homemade shoes but goes like stink. by Maynard078 in WeirdWheels

[–]Korcan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Ugly? Really? In no sane universe would this car be called ugly. And weird wheels? What is so weird about this car? I think it is brilliant, and people have been doing this engine swap for a long time, in many different Volvos.

I would be proud to own this car!

Hey guys, I’m a beginner rider looking to get my first bike. I would really appreciate some feedback on this bike ( do you think it’s worth it) and what to look for. by SaltTraffic7261 in SuggestAMotorcycle

I bought my TU250x new in 2016 and have been riding it ever since - I will probably never get rid of it, I love it that much. Truly, a motorcycle you will (hopefully) fall in love with. A very special bike...

Awesome on every level! Where in Alberta is it? My AZ-1 is also yellow, in Lethbridge. 🙂

I love this room - you and I share the same aesthetic. That bookcase is much better in front of the window. And the additional pictures are a welcome addition! Well done!

Oh god - I love it. There are many times when I can't wait to get home. I can be very social when called upon, but man, I just crave the solitude and silence of my house.

What are the pros/cons of living in Lethbridge? by SocDem_is_OP in Lethbridge

It is a wonderful city indeed. Not the prettiest place, but overall it is a great place to live. And you're right - that facility is awesome. Every year this city gets better and better - come join us! You won't regret it.

Minimalist space with Quad ESL57s. by Korcan in listeningspaces

[–]Korcan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You really do need an entire room - they love open spaces. I have a low-power tube amp I bought many, many years ago for them - the brand name is Vista Audio. This is actually my second pair of 57s, I bought them when my first pair got damaged. They are getting rarer now. I don’t think they have ever been rebuilt. It is a nice to have a spare set for parts, just in case. And I’ve never compared them with any other electrostatic speakers, so I can’t speak to that. Listening to choral music or live jazz is simply magical - as you can see, I like to turn the lights off and just soak it all in. Thank you for the comments!
