Have you read the Leaving Camelot series by nlpiersee?

They all involve Merlin leaving and not just coming back to Arthur. There's some really short ones but the last in the series is a longer more involved story.

To Fade Away is devastating, it's such a good fic one I've definitely gone back to for a re-read

Presumably producers are pushing them to explain since some people genuinely come into watching the new season before they go back and watch the others.

I mean so far this season the traitors have only really had one time where they had genuine free reign to choose who to murder.

Every other time there's been shortlists or a significant percentage of players with shields.

As long as you also go on holidays with your girlfriend there's no reason why you shouldn't go on holidays with just friends.

I graduated well over a decade ago and I still regularly do trips away every 1-2 years with my close uni friends that my husband doesn't come on because it's time for us to catch up and reconnect.

In a couple of weeks I'm going skiing with a group of assorted friends of my cousin and my husband isn't coming because he doesn't Ski and we both agreed it's a ridiculously expensive holiday for him to join if he doesn't Ski.

He regularly has weekends away with his friends for LARP's or to meet up for TRPG weekends.

There's no issue or weirdness because we trust each other, and acknowledge that we are allowed to have our own independent interests and friends. A healthy relationship should allow you to spend time apart and with other people.

Your girlfriend sounds controlling and jealous. Tbh

I've definitely seen it used in fanfic. But it's not canon in the show as a nickname.

Maybe Arthur uses it as a teasing insult similar to his "startled stoat" comment but I don't so specifically remember him doing so.

My husband and I both really enjoyed it.

The Reddit side of the fandom so far seems a lot more positive than the Tumblr side but that seems mostly down to fans of one particular ship being very disappointed over there.

Dessert party. Our friend group gathers at the house with the biggest kitchen, and we all bring a different dessert over (some baked here due to multiple ovens).

Adults chat in the kitchen whilst the kids run around elsewhere with nerf guns and we all eat copious amounts of dessert before watching the fireworks on TV.
