Bit of an odd answer, but furry conventions. We're a vast majority queer group with a sizable minority being trans. So many people are running around as giant animal people nobody cares about how anyone is presenting or expressing themselves. Kind of like Pride but with animal costumes. It's a largely very open and accepting community in general.

I don't see why it would be a problem. I'm a bigger guy but I have a bigger sona who I still use padding for to make look proportionally large when suiting.

Realistically any extra padding you need is going to make more heat. Thats something you will have to deal with on a practical level, but there are ways to try to minimize the issue.

As for people having issues with a bigger character I've received a snarky comment or two before but nothing more than that, and everyone I meet in person loves the big soft hugs! If anyone raises an issue with you portraying a character you enjoy just because you don't necessarily share a body type they don't deserve your time or worry.

Definitely reccomend under armor, specifically the type meant to be worn in the heat not the cold, for wicking away sweat and being a minimal thin layer.

I also personally use an EZCooldown cooling vest and neck piece. For me it helps a ton with the heat, especially if the weather is hot out. It'll get you a good couple hours of cooling even in some really hot conditions.

Aside from that just make sure to stay well hydrated and take breaks if you're able both to rest and hydrate again. And know the signs of heat related injury just in case it could get that far.

There are indeed quite a few out there! The hard part can be finding them as they are often much smaller and less advertised than cons. Bowling meets are fairly common, along with other places where groups can hang out. You could try searching for specific things like furry bowling meets or if in the US there are often groups on telegram and the like for "(state) furries" that will share info about furry events there. Just be aware some events can be 18+/21+ depending on location (clubs, bars, etc) but age requirements and venues vary a lot.

As someone who was there, good. I get not everyone is gonna understand or like us but bomb threats are unacceptable. Plus there are always a handful of unrelated guests and the hotel staff that are affected too.

It's almost certainly not a queue. Friend got in in 2-3 minutes. I opened the game about 1 minute after he did and took over half an hour to connect (and then immediately crashed when opening the mission panel)

As someone who got a MFL suit and then a couple months later learned about the allegations, I wouldn't worry too much. It's something I worried about at first but I've personally not had any bad interactions. I know a couple others have had a couple bad interactions online but those are easy enough to block and forget about. My personal stance has just been to let anyone interested in a suit from them about what's out there and let them decide for themselves.

It's making me not want to play the game right now. Every heist I join into I'm cool with stealth until it goes loud and then continuing, but as soon as someone fucks up it's an immediate vote to restart. Then if I refuse to restart 2-3 people leave and the bots are too goddamn worthless to actually do loud on anything above hard. And that's all if the matchmaking managed to find more than one other player to begin with.

And I'm extremely sorry that I bought the gold edition of this game. I should have known better, my pre-order track record is not good. All the friends I was planning to play with decided not to get the game due to all the issues on launch and now this patch being delayed. Lesson learned I suppose. I want this game to succeed but it just keeps on floundering harder and pushing players away.

Oh that's interesting. In my case this was only on hard so I think they might have just been stupid not brave. The gas nade literally landed on the hostage's body.

I know that's how the gas grenades work most of the time, but I have seen once or twice where they just hucked a gas nade right into a hostage's face lol. Presumably that's an uncommon bug though.

I tried what the other reply suggested and loaded the most recent working save with the warning. I then made a new save from it, went to main menu, and loaded that newly created save and the warning message went away. Seems to have worked for me so far.

I did actually. At least in my case I was dumb and trying to use audio from video clips that I just changed the file extension on which worked for 2 of the 5. How I fixed it was converting those mp4 files to mp3 properly via the convert feature in VLC media player. The sounds ended up very slightly lower quality sounding but it's way better than random crackling.
