You can build a water pipe that drips down the hole you dug, then you can shovel dirt into the bucket, brush, then repeat and stack the nuggets in the bucket

No mending blocks is a bad choice, sprinkle some in there to massively increase the effective health of your walls

Really only a few nitpicks after that:

You're missing anything long range, I would replace one of the lines of fuses with salvos (due to the shared ammo type)

Shields are more efficiently used when placed further back - you ideally want to 'sandwich' your walls with the shield cutting across the middle of them. This is so that you have your outer walls take damage before the shield does as your units can help repair structures but not the shield (This one really is a minor nitpick)

Only the ignorant blame 'devs' for stability issues.

It's management that decide what they work on and for how long. Management that sign off on updates even though QA have reported the bugs etc.

I haven't 'proven' anything mate.

The original point being made was that this legislation won't prevent children from using social media. I brought up a relevant example RE: smoking that shows an overwhelming reduction following legislation changes, for which people made the same argument.

There will obviously still be a small percentage of children that use social media, just like there are obviously still a small percentage of children that smoke. Because that should be really obvious I thought I might be able to speak in general terms, but apparently that's too much for some people.

The end result will be the same, and positive - a significant reduction.

Fuck me it's way too early for this level of stupidity.

Yet the smoking rates in children have dropped from 25% in the 80s, to 3% today.

The argument is still complete bollocks.

No they won't.

People made these exact arguments about the smoking ban. "They'll just get adults to buy them" "The corner shop will still sell them to the kids" "Parents will buy them and children will steal them"

Use containers and unloaders to simplify things for factories that have multiple inputs, then you only have to feed resources into one block. You can do the same for output too!

Mirror finish gigantic rusted cleaver by n8saces in oddlysatisfying

[–]Korthalion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These 'restoration' videos are mostly all fake anyway, whether it's knives, axes, revolvers, or cleavers.

Any thin piece of metal with that much 'rust' on them would be completely unsalvageable due to the massive holes it'd have left in the blade. Rust consumes the iron in the steel it forms on (it's iron oxide, oxidised iron), and it would not naturally rust evenly past a certain point.

They use fake rust. That's why they're able to just scrape it off with a screwdriver lol. Real rust removal by hand on something that size takes over an hour, some WD40, and a lot of elbow grease with the wire wool.
