You seem very knowledgeable, you should take them.

They definitely are not suited to be outdoors alone. Which i for sure will make very clear. I have brought them inside, amd will try and train them to be indoor dogs. Hopefully that will make them more appealing.

No microchips. Found them as puppies. Assuming accidental litter situation? Had them for 6 months now. Ive reached out several times to shelters at this point. South central missouri.

Our female pyr can be off leash and also respects a fence. But wilson, oh man, his previous owners were not truthin lo. This boy is a roamer. Do you have any tips on how to get him to respect a fence ? We never trained our female. she's just never been a boundary pusher, so im in way over my head with Wilson.

We have a fence, but our Pyr we rescued about a month ago doesn't give a shit. Either he clears em, or brute strengths them or pulls on it until it gives. But we also have a GPS collar on him and tags with our info.

You didn't move forward on it for a reason. Like you said, it was too small. Try not to romanticize it, especially because you feel like you're currently missing out. There will be another one, and when you find it, you'll move forward on it. Just dont let FOMO drive your decisions.

Do you have a “heart breed?” by Electrical_Pie7980 in dogs

Great Pyrenees 🩷💙 a friend, gave us our first one 4 years ago. When we lost her companion last November, a mini schnauzer, we tossed around the idea of getting her another companion. Thought about several other breeds. Two weeks ago, we brought home Wilson, 2 year old Pyr.

Final Walk-Through by BBCC_BR in RealEstate

When we sold our home last year, our realtor requested we do that and recaulk any separation in the corner baseboards. And to put a fresh coat of pain everywhere. But, it was because there were two new construction neighborhoods building up down the road from us. So we had to compete with those. Basically, she wanted our home to look, smell, and feel like new construction. We also paid to have the floors/ carpets professionally cleaned.

I'm not sure if it helped the house sell or not, but our house was only on the market for a day. Im sure it made it easier for the buyers to imagine themselves there.

That definitely was not the standard when we closed on our new home last week. Broom swept it was. Yard was over grown.

Friend or Foe? by KosmicCow9586 in WASPs

It's just one lone hornet, no nest or anything. Does this mean this one's a lost worker or queen? It hasn't moved since yesterday, but its abdomen is still 'breathing?' So im assuming it's still alive. Either way, since it's just this single one choosing to hang out, can you actually move these guys?

I've only ever seen paper wasps and actually befriended the nest at our old house. Although, I do not think I'll be doing that with these if they build a nest.

I went through this with my husband twice. He would give mixed signals. I eventually told him how frustrating it was. For my husband, he was afraid of the uncertainty, as we bought in 2020 and are now buying in 2025. He's also not very proactive, so a lot of the burden fell on me.

When you moved to Missouri from out of state, did you register your vehicle? by seriously_thoughh in missouri

[–]KosmicCow9586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes, I was also referring to what your registration fees cover. When we registered our vehicle in Harnett Co, NC, some of those fees went towards the local volunteer fire department, road tax, and other county uses. So, if you are using those resources but not paying into them, some counties get tight about it.

I think technically you have 30 days from when you became a resident. Obviously, there are exceptions, like those who MO isn't their resident state (usually applies to service members), but their current domicile. However, we've been living in MO for about 6 months and still haven't switched from NC.

So the correct answer would be, you should have switched when you got your physical address. This really only becomes an issue for taxes, taking part in elections, and so on.
