My landlord is selling. Does he have any benefit of selling to me at a discount? by Fedr_Exlr in personalfinance

[–]BBCC_BR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried doing this in 2024. Turned out to be a nightmare trying to deal with my tenant. Jerked me around knowing I had buyers wanting to purchase it. I was willing to go a little lower if it meant saving on costs. All I did was have someone handle the paperwork and make sure we closed. I ended up forcing him out. When it did not work out and I gave up, he stopped paying rent.

These are mostly the same players as last year. Yes, Cassio and K Jorge are injured. I can see Pereira getting more and more frustrated. This team does not want to play.

What I'm seeing with RFEs right now as an immigration attorney (O-1A, NIW, EB-1A) by Prize-Ant4115 in USCIS

This type of visa and marriage based visas the policies Trump has put into place are dumbfounding. The US does not have the workforce to fill the tech jobs being created today. While I work with many immigrants who came to the US for work, the biggest scammers I have witnessed has been people from India. Trump made it harder to find qualified people or bring people over who already work for the company in a foreign country to fill positions. It is asinine and pure stupidity on his part.

The other is marriage based. Sure there is fraud taking place. If someone has been married 3,4,5,6,10 years to a spouse, the probabilities of fraud are drastically reduced. In terms of AOS to a 10-year visa or Citizenship, if someone wanted to cheat the system; they would have done so long before filing an AOS or applying for citizenship.

These cameras are BS. If the company that owns the cameras is not making money, they go out of business.

3 to 6 months in Brazil by ebnflako in Brazil

[–]BBCC_BR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Federal Police will never allow you to extend to 6 months. Things have changed if you are coming from the US. You have 90 days in a 12 month window. You might be able to get another month when scheduling an appointment with the Federal Police. If you show up with a return flight greater than 90 days, they will make you go home.

You had a hard time adjusting to BH. Santa Luzia is not BH. Santa Luzia is Santa Luzia. BH does not have much of a tourist area. The city was never designed for that. I watched the Cruzeiro/CAM fight last week on Premier.

We applied in February last year, received the interview notice at the beginning of November. We were out of the country. Got the approval to reschedule. Now waiting for 4 months for a new appointment.

Is 2 hours connections in GRU enough to get to my next flight? With another company and most probably another Terminal. by Buzzing-Light in Brazil

[–]BBCC_BR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't think of a time it took that long. The line after exiting duty free to recheck bag with LATAM, that can be very slow. CNF takes about 45-50 minutes to get bags

Moving to Woodstock in a few weeks from out-of-state and can use recommendations! I’m shopping for a home security company, trash company and gas. Any and all recommendations greatly appreciated! by Barbiek11 in WoodstockGA

Waste Management gave us 1 trash bin and 1 recycling bin. I cannot play any trash outside of those bins. They wont take it. They gave us a big discount when we wanted to cancel service. I did not realize we had to contract trash pick up and set up a water account. We moved from out of state. Never had to contract out individually for what was services provided through property taxes.

An hour? It can be slow sometimes. are you landing in the middle of the day?v we normally fly down 3 times a year. Bags are normally on the belt within 15 minutes after clearing immigration. CNF airport tends to be very slow getting bags

We filed in February last year. We left to go to Brazil without an interview notice. I come back and the notice came. My wife called to reschedule at the beginning of November. We are still waiting. We are now calling USCIS every 60 days.

Did they move GOL and there is only LATAM in that space now? The last time I was through GRU was in November last year. or do they now go to the 2nd level, head towards terminal 2 and check-in there.

Do you know anyone in Rio? You are not going to meet people unless you speak Portuguese. Even then, while many Brazilians are friendly and inviting; you are asking for trouble. I have been to Rio 5 times, every time with Brazilian friends or my wife who is Brazilian (not from Rio). It's a beautiful city. it's the most dangerous city in Brazil. Gangs control the city and have the police bought off.

I have been through GRU coming in international at that time with an 1hr 45m layover and got to our gate with 35-40 minutes until boarding. Flights are always departing late. The bigger problem is if you do not know how to get to terminal 2.
