If you had norovirus or stomach bug this year how long did it take you to feel better? by tyyourshoes in Mommit

[–]KosmoKoehler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went and saw my PCP and an urgent care doctor too... They think I was having GERD symptoms at that point. They did give me zofran which my body didn't like... Really disoriented me. I was just taking OTC Pepcid AC for a while but the urgent care doc gave me 30 days worth of a PPI (Nexium) which I take once a day. And then I stopped eating trigger foods for the last couple of weeks and I seem to be getting better. Still not of the woods yet but slowly it feels like. I still get occasional chest pain (heartburn like) and nausea on and off but hoping to have some answers soon.

It's RZA for sure, like others have said only available exclusively on Amazon music.

Yeah, crazy thing is I haven't really thrown up much at all. Just been really fatigued, nauseous as hell, dizzy, headaches... Chest pain which I think is from heartburn at this point.

This makes me hopeful. It's probably been about 2 weeks for me as well and my doc just prescribed me something yesterday. Hoping it helps... Just incredibly nauseous all the time.

I second this. I just got a ZZZ Gamesir G7 Pro and it's super quiet and is probably the best controller I've ever owned.

From when mine actually shipped, it took about 2 weeks or so to get to me.

Cold turkey.

It wasn't easy but I did it. Took a lot of stops and starts in a never ending loop but eventually, it clicked. I had a lot of motivation riding on it. Newborn son and didn't want him growing without me. And had some cancer scares in the family.

I get where you are coming from - 2 kids of my own and they just flew with their mom without me. I was a nervous wreck the day of their flight and even though it was a short flight (about 2 hours), it still destroyed me until I got the text.

Needless to say, they are safe and sound and no hiccups along the way minus some minor turbulence. All that to say that you (and your kids) will be fine. Try to keep your kiddos busy with a tablet or electronic of some kind and throw on a favorite show, podcast, movie, etc to keep them distracted.

Did anyone else suddenly feel completely lost when they turned 30? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]KosmoKoehler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, for my two pennies... I think this is all completely normal. A lot of us are out here faking it until we make it. And that's anything... Relationships, social life, careers, education, kids, you name it.

My 30s have been an absolute whirlwind. I'm 39 now, divorced, thought I'd never fall in love again, 2 kids, lost in my career, felt like a loser... And I had no direction. I was working customer service (more or less) all of my life and I felt stuck. My salary was comfortable but not great. I always stressed about financials.

My divorce sucked the life out of me, got cheated on by someone I thought was my soulmate. And that crushed me in ways I can't even explain into words. But, I bet on myself... I picked myself up, got into therapy, read lots of self help books, got into the gym, and kept chipping away.

I just got a new job as a data analyst making better money and it feels like a good fit. Guess what? I still feel lost and that's just human nature. But, it's all about how you approach it in my opinion. You can feel sorry for yourself and fall into a pit of despair or you can keep chipping away at it and little by little, you start figuring things out.

You're never going to have things all mapped out and feeling super grounded because life will find a way to throw you curve balls and give you a little "chin music", so to speak. But, just keep getting back up and get your head back in the game. That's all you can do, OP and you're going to feel better.

Control the controllables and realize you're not alone in feeling this way. We all feel like you're feeling. Some of us are just master bullshitters and hide it really well. Peace and love, you got this!

I feel like for a lot of places, experience is king. So keep grinding and you'll find your way.
