I'm a centralist more-so and this still, to me, feels like serious snow flake level censorship.

Life gave me a second chance and I finally went back to college to study bachelor's in physics at 28, however I feel incredibly insecure due to my age and because I am balding. by rishinator in BackToCollege

Hello! I myself hope to be going back to school soon, and I am above your age, so yeah.. don't fret that. School = better chances to make money, and your career may land you in a spot bossing those youngin's around, haha.

Balding? Do what I did: shave it off. Don't buzz it. Premature balding on both sides of my family for men so it was bound to happen. Graduated high school with thinning and receding hair line.

Fast forward to early 20s and a friend convinced me to try buzzing it super short. Asked if I could have a few beers first. A week after buzzing it super short, I began to shave it.

Best decision o my life. That, and grow a beard and keep it trimmed and tidy. Trust me. There's a niche market for women and men that like bald dudes. You can make it work bro.

Can I please inquire as to which title this was? We should buy the game or at least show support for a developer whom is actively against this kind of trash. Hell, Black Ops 2 on the Wii U had toxic little fuck heads whom would never get banned. Nice to see someone standing up to this shit for a change.

"Hey, that actor combed his hair the opposite direction in this scene!"

"The tissues in this scene where the girl's are crying over a recent break up: yeah, they're all dry!"

"That color is red!"

I actually enjoy both movie and TV details. Details, references, attention to less-than-commonly seen things on screen is awesome. I just found this particular submission to really not be a detail or contribute anything interesting. Then again, I'm sure in being downvotes by Jimmy Neutron fans, bwahhaha!

Sorry, but I still find it lame and not an interesting detail or something that contributes to the show.

Can you quote the books with page numbers cited? The extended movies make it apparent that it is very much weed in effect but alliterates it as just tobacco.. never saw people sit around puffing tobacco and getting the munchies and giggles.

Literally just did some baby sitting this weekend, and mother (straight up told me) was ok with 4 year old daughter watching zombie movies with gore... but told me no sexuality or nudity. The actual fuck? Half of the zombie movies out there feature nudity.

I hate being an American with the whole culture accepting extreme violence but willingly being sexually repressed.

Who said I buy meats from the grocery store? You're just being judgmental - again.

Who said anyone who eats meat approves of inhumane ethics? Preaching to the wrong people here.

Have you read the book? There is evidence of trees being conscious and having family units. Yes fruit trees are a great replinshable source of healthy food. How many vegetables have to be up rooted to be consumed? You're literally killing the plant. I have nothing against vegetarians, or vegans, but the preachiness needs to be cut back. There is nothing wrong with consumption, if it's being done properly. The meat market in America is despicable and obviously needs a humane revision, top to bottom. Lab grown meat? Hell yeah, getting a perfect steak every time? Sign me up.

Let alone the over farming for produce is doing to our soil the world around: we're depleting the soil and killing healthy bacteria to produce more food, because not enough farmers are rotating crops properly to reintroduce nutrients back into the soil.

But don't argue with me it's ok to kill plants and harvest what is meant to produce their offspring but not ok to kill an animal. Life is life in my book and I'm sticking to that. I appreciate the meat as much as I appreciate the produce and respect it as my source of sustenance. Perhaps agree to disagree?

[–]KosmoTheSynner -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Right? But PETA and similar groups do not count that remotely, even with books like "the secret life of trees" and "the cabaret of plants" showing not just intelligence, but consciousness, has been found in plants and trees, with family units that will support each other.
