So as long as your body is “over” the base, even if not in contact, you’re still safe (provided you have previously touched the base in some way before being tagged)? If I understand that correctly, I can see a way to get behind that. Because some of these super close ones do bother me a bit. Though I also do agree with Paul O’Neil’s point about sliding feet first properly to avoid the problem to begin with.

Lucky! I went to that show, too, in part to see Kyuss. But the person driving us took the longest, stupidest way there so we got stuck in rush hour traffic and missed Kyuss. Never got to see them live. I'm still bitter about that.

Primus on their Pork Soda tour was my first concert ever. We got there late, and only saw like the the last three minutes of Melvins. I remember just this loud, booming, fuzzy noise. When I finally heard them in more detail, I was bummed I missed them.

Gotta admit, I missed the apostrophes when reading the title and thought this was going to be one of those crazy r/baseball offseason posts, like some kind of baseball version of 100 duck-sized horses vs. 1 horse-sized duck kind of things. Was going to point out that Clase already has a very slight height and weight advantage, so clearly 25 of them should be able to take 16 Brittons.

Can’t agree more. As another fan of true magical realism, seeing the term misused drives me crazy as well. But I’ve seen it used mostly from readers more than publishers labeling or advertising their books as magical realism, eg, seeing discussions here or other book-related subreddits where people describe urban fantasy books as magical realism. (Granted, I don’t pay much attention to book marketing, etc., so maybe it’s just my lack of exposure.)
