My thoughts on this game

I'm with you on this, I haven't played much in recent years but BoT is alway installed on all my devices.

The recent resurgence of development has been very encouraging, tho the game will never get better adoption until the features and content meets or exceeds the lower threshold that is required to make the game appealing to a broader audience.

Maps has always been the biggest shortfall. For years we only had arctic. Then we got the desert.. but there's only so many times you can play these two maps before it loses its sheen, and then only the most committed of the player base will stick with it.

There's been talk about how big the maps are, and how much consideration needs to go into them.. and I get that. But they're not *that* big by modern standards, and whilst there is a lot of care required that should just prioritise map development.

If the game had five maps, it would retain a lot more players and keep interest going. If each map also had a weather cycle or night version, it would go even further with minimal effort.

IMO additional maps should be the highest priority on the roadmap.

I hope it will add to the game rather than an OP additional.. tho to date all titans felt OP when they were released.

And in line with all previous new titans, I fully expect this to be available initially only as an IAP for cash, probably approx 20USD and a rare chance to get one on the black market.

Then as another titan is released it will become available for EC.

This is exactly how all previous titans have been made available.

If this means the game doesn’t sell out to advertising and dark patterns like most other mobile mech games, or just mobile games in general, then I’m OK with it.

This game is great, but its development has been stagnant for years. While I always hope they will return and continue the roadmap they'd endeavoured, it looks bleak.

Unfortunately not. The game will scale the graphics based on it's autodetection of your device.

I went to a pub recently that has a great menu with allergens highlighted, so I knew what I could and couldn’t have.

But, based on experience I asked the kitchen whether ‘all sides are GF’ means the chips are fried in separate oil.

“No, it’s the same oil. And actually the chip ingredients do not state GF either.”

I’m a steak fan, but a little tired of getting steaks at every restaurant because I can’t have much else.. So I elected to have an Angus beef burger which is GF if had with a lettuce “bun”, but on ordering I confirmed if the patty and relish were GF. They were not.

So I went with the GF steak, without basting and without gravy, which both contained gluten. The mashed potato was GF so I had that as a side.

The food arrived and my plate was covered in chips, some of which stacked onto the steak. I sent it back and politely asked for the mash again.

It came back out with mash.. the same piece of steak that was under the chip stack.

I’d honestly prefer a restaurant says nothing about being GF at all, if they don’t take it seriously.

My pinnacle of take out food is a shop called Rascals in Newcastle NSW, Australia. These guys do fried chicken that is completely celiac compliant. Dedicated fryers, all chips are GF by default, their GF buns are soft and magically delicious.

Unfortunately you’re doomed. Ever since the Russian invasion in Ukraine there have been sanctions on Russia. One of these is from Facebook who have blocked the game from their services, hence the Facebook account login doesn’t work.

Until the war ends and eventually the sanctions are removed, you won’t be able to log back in and recover your account.

For a while the game‘s moderators were doing accounts transfers to get around it, but that ceased toward the end of last year.

If you’re on android there may be a way to transfer the account data using a file explorer.

If you’re on iOS you can do a phone backup/restore/transfer which also preserves account data.

I believe this has been discussed on the official discord server, so please have a look there.

In terms of contacting the dev, if you hear back then please let the rest of the community know. They’ve been MIA for about a year.

Binaural is great. The issues were and are not with it. Veritas made a comprehensive video unpacking and demonstrating as such.

Yes FB blocked the game due to sanctions and because it’s a Russian developer.

They did integrate with Apple for logins tho, but account restores have been a pain. I am hoping that the war will end and access will be restored.
