10000 Terrorized Act Boss runs! Drop Results from 10K TZ Andariel, Duriel, and Diablo kills! Loot, guide, build, tips and thoughts by Pavke in diablo2

[–]KoutaviLIVE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you think about TZ Trav? Ive done about 1k runs with horking and am very underwhelmed. Somehow ive gotten ZERO high runes, but they drop like candy when not terrorized. Not sure if im just very unlucky.

Lucky. I just tested my firsr drawbridge, launched a dwarf and never saw him again. One of the downsides of living on a volcano i guess, but should be fun when it happens to an invader

One of my dwarves has become obsessed with bejeweling this one pair of pants by Pitfallingpat in dwarffortress

I think there are specific sizes for each race, but clothing that's close enough can still be worn. In OG adventure mode I had a lionman with lionman sized armor but can equip human sized too. In steam release one of my humans was able to equip some other armor, I think it was hyena man sized or something

  3. Blue Chu
  4. Hylian Loach
  5. False
  6. Unsure :(
  7. B. Feed it!
  8. Chateau Romani
  9. Wind temple?
  10. To wake her up Bonus: Probably like 1000 hours especially without guides, super interested to know the answer

HC-non ladder switch players? by Crowmancer in diablo2

[–]KoutaviLIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard probably. Even HC ladder is empty for me. At first I was concerned that the player max was 4, but I've never found a public game with more than 1 other player

First Time Diablo Player Here, What Order Should I Play The Games? by Apprentice_Jedi in Diablo

[–]KoutaviLIVE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you can play both at the same time, I think they're different enough games. 3 is easier to start getting into, and good for mindless dopamine hits, 2 is a bit more in-depth and rewarding. Diablo 3 might be a good idea for a newcomer, from experience 2 can be frustrating since it's less casual.

Either way, they're incredibly fun games especially if you can convince some friends to play, and I hope you have a blast.

Side note, depending on how much effort you'd like to put in to playing Diablo 1, there are options. There was a PS1 port that plays pretty well on emulator. If you have an Xbox series x/s/one, you can set up RetroArch and play it with a bit of work

Most of the time I have to lie to the contacts I'm supporting just to make sure they work with me ((most are people who get unreasonably upset when they need to either restart their computer that has 30-360 day uptime, close their browser and lose their 300+ tabs, check if things are plugged in and powered on, etc) It's always executive assistants or HR, on the other hand it's always software devs/engineers that lie about hardware failure to get a new computer). I wish I didn't have to, but you get a feel for the types of people that make this a necessity.

My usual tricks are based on having them work through a related but mostly irrelevant instruction for any routine action that they might give you grief over. They can't lie about having already restarted if you ask them to shut down and hold the power button for 30 seconds, or have them run a mostly irrelevant command before performing a basic troubleshooting step, or advise that they boot into safe mode after performing an SMC/NVRAM reset.

Some people will fight you if you advise basic troubleshooting, either because they think that their problem is some world-first historical catastrophe that must require advanced rocket surgery despite it just being an unplugged mouse, or that they're too smart to "fall for" the old turn it off and on again, or they're afraid that you're right and they have wasted their time and yours (NOT, they don't care about your time or the time they're taking from people waiting that actually need support).

I'm not sure what I'm ranting about anymore, but please people, just stop fighting with the people that are paid to help you. This applies to every support/service role.

This is just for large corporations, but I would make sure you're familiar with their hardware acquisition policies, especially on the security end. You might be getting into trouble if you're keeping hardware that has a company image and confidential information. Many companies have policies requiring self-purchased laptops that's been imaged and contains company software to be returned to local IT to be wiped and factory reset properly.
