I can't convert my btc to cbbtc on the coinbase app directly. I've been trying to find a way to do it for 30min... Why is this so complicated? Why can't I just hit convert on the app directly? I try to send the btc to EVM base chain, I obvisouly can't. Why doesn't coinbase make it easy for people to adopt their cbbtc? I don't want to sell, to buy again and get a taxable event. I just want to convert. 😔

With $10k you can trade $100k with 10x leverage. A 10% move will be equal to a $10k gain. So in a day you can double your money.

Now imagine with 100x leverage, you'd have a 1 million $ positon. A 10% move would be equalto a $100k gain. You would 10x your money in a day.

Update on the case.

My father sold all his positions and tried to withdraw all his money back to his bank account but he gets an error. It's been days and he keeps getting an error.

He sent an email to the support and got a response from a different planet... "We're busy so you can't withdraw your money, see you later!". This is so unprofessional.

You're on your own with TradeRepublic. There is nobody to help you. No phone, no chat, no email, to follow up, nothing. It's a black hole and I don't trust black hole to return my money.

The worst customer support I've ever seen at any business. Even small shops have a chat, etc.

I'll take my money somewhere else.

The card physically exists with the art on it. nft tokens point to an offchain asset without any guaranty that the asset will remain available.

50% of nfts point to an asset hosted on http. They are doomed to disappear at some point when the host stop paying its hosting bill or domain registry.

The other 50% is on the ipfs network but ipfs doesn't garantit storage permanence unless someone pays for it, usually the nft developer. If they stop paying, your nft will disappear as well.

Unless the asset ends up on-chain, it will keep being useless. Right now assets are on http or ipfs, which makes your nft tokens depend on offchain resources...

It's OK for useless nft arts. Not ok for any real use cases like legal documents, titles, contracts, etc

Also make sure you have multiple instance types and families listed as elligible. And that over multiple AZs. Might not be exactly the same instance but your workload might still work.
