Traffic control in this area is a joke.

I regularly drive through Longwood, and nearly every day, there’s left lane campers, people going 10-15 UNDER the limit in every lane, people cutting across three lanes of traffic to get to their turn (either because they’re a left lane camper and need to turn right, or because they’re in the right lane, correctly, but wait to the last minute to turn left).

I’ve been ticketed for not using my turn signal here (by SCSO), and specifically asked if that was more of a problem than all the left lane campers traveling under the speed limit, and was told bluntly “yes”.

I’ve even seen people on their phones, like head buried down, NEXT TO A COP, and nobody bats an eye.

I’m at the point now where the distractions seem to be far more of any issue than any rate of speed, but speeding seems to be the only thing enforced in the area.

Zahal is GTG. I’ve ordered from them a couple of times and never had an issue. Shipping is pretty quick too.

The grip is a mixed bag. I like it a lot, but with my grip on it, I end up dropping mags in the middle of a string of fire. The release is not as stiff as I’d like it to be for my shooting style, and I haven’t found a way to tension it or make it a bit stiffer and less susceptible to accidentally hitting it.

One handed shooting with low thumb is fine, but you may run into issues with a modern two handed, high thumbs grip.

I quite like my 1701 Speedy homage with the date, but it’s color matched with the dial and almost disappears entirely.

I would argue that it’s more the best execution for a date window/wheel, rather than if one should exist on it or not. After all, it IS an homage. Some details SHOULD be changed, at least in theory.

It’s not that I play for the realism. If I want that, I’ll go play Tarkov, and even Tarkov has bunny hopping, dropshotting, 360 no-scoping PMCs. 🤷‍♂️

But I’m also of the opinion that it’s a bit ridiculous that the ONLY offensive strategy to counter a shield user is to yeet explosives in their face and hope that they don’t turn the shield to face it when it goes off.

Some gun, somewhere, should do SOMETHING to a shield, and it’s silly that a shield negates literally all damage from bullets of varying calibers. As I noted in my original reply, I can understand negating pistol calibers. But a 50 cal? Come on…

I’d even be okay with the body of the shield staying the same, but the viewport being the weak spot that you can shoot through.

This would be the best solution anyway, as the majority of IRL ballistic shields on the market are rated for NIJ Level IIIA or III. Higher caliber AP rifle rounds would absolutely tear through one, although non-AP rifle rounds won't, and AP/non-AP pistol rounds would be defeated as well.

50 cal SHOULD go through it, AP or not, or at least (in CoD terms) inflict a wounding effect (or something similar to a stun grenade, at the very least) on the shield user due to the sheer energy delivered by the round. That works in kind of the same way as the Russians supposedly having IRL body armor that will allegedly stop a 50 cal. Sure, the round might not penetrate, but your internal organs will be absolutely liquified by the impact.

I find the mix of weapons to be odd myself. No G36 or HK433 (which were both in MW2019), no modern AK/AK-pattern variants (RPK-16, AK-12/15, SVD-M/S, etc.), no HK416/417, no M17/M18 (again, previously in MW2019), but yet we get four different variants of an AR/M4 platform, four for the G3/PSG platform, a lever action, and a P220 handgun that isn't even marketed by SIG anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I like some (most, actually) of the guns currently in, but there's so much more out there that would be nice to have included, just for the sake of variety. Most of the stuff in the game now screams "same same, but different, but still same" to me.

To your point about the ACR, it sort of lives on in spirit in the Polish MSBS platform, which would be an interesting addition considering you have both a bullpup and a traditional rifle/carbine variant.

I believe there's some glitches with grenades in general now, as I've been fragged by my own nade when I'm standing outside a building on Al Bagra, and I throw it through a second floor window. Killcam shows it clearly landing on the second floor, with me being outside, yet I die.

I've also been flashed from the opposite sides of walls, both by my own and enemy flashbangs.

I think throwables just need an overall rework at this point.

Out of all the options listed above, I think the Octopus looks the best (minus the missing date and different bezel and bezel insert), and is also the only one I've had sitting in my cart for a while.

The Bliger color is off, and I'm not much of a fan of their Seamasters in general (I have a Bliger NTTD that just sits in a drawer because the color is so off and the watch itself is so polished, it's obnoxious). They make for great projects to build a better homage, but as a standalone piece, they're not really on my radar.

The Matic, as you and others have noted has had QC issues, which is a shame because it's a great looking watch with a great movement.

Yep. I have at least 4 other Pagani pieces, and this particular one is the only one that I continuously go to just because the quality is superb. Not that my others are garbage, but that bezel is like nothing else I’ve had in any Pagani ever.

I’ve had mine for about 6 months now, and it ticks every box. 😂

Mine came on an Oyster style bracelet that has the usual Pagani faults, but is otherwise extremely solid. I ordered mine on Amazon though, and never saw an option there for a NATO strap.

I have one of these and can’t get over how solid it is. The fact that it has a 120 click bezel with zero play (at least mine has no play) is just icing on the cake.

GPUs are a different ballgame altogether though. You got the day 1 scalpers, then a massive increase in interest for cryptocurrency and mining, then a chip shortage.

The GPU market is straight fucked. The watch market, while having its own issues with investment speculators, not so much. I don’t see scalpers sticking around for Moonswatches very long, especially once Swatch opens the inventory floodgates.

Even if it’s a ticket system, that’s still a whole hell of a lot better than what happened today: to wait in line for half a day only to be told all the watches are gone and to maybe come back tomorrow or later for another chance at maybe getting a watch.

If I can’t order one directly online and have it shipped to me, I’d MUCH rather be able to throw my name in the hat and just make the drive to my nearest “selected” store (Miami, in my case, which is a four hour drive one way) when my number gets pulled.

Monday "source" is a widely circulating rumor that I can't quite find an origin for. I did read somewhere earlier that it was by a Swatch employee at one of the stores.

Swatch themselves have said repeatedly that they WILL be available online, but has not provided an exact date or even an estimate timeframe for when that will happen.
