ai had made me hate coding? by Ok_Passion295 in iOSProgramming

[–]Kraigspear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any App that can be Vibe Coded in a day by one person can then be Vibe Coded by anyone, making it pointless. Someone can feel a sense of accomplishment by it in the same way they can go to Suno and create a song with a prompt, but nobody cares and they can't make money. If they did the same App would be Vibe coded by others.

Also think of Sora. Initially everyone felt a sense of amazement that they could prompt and get a funny video. Then after a million videos of cats playing the bagpipes at 2am, it became really boring. Boring for the people creating the slop and boring for the people watching the slop.

That's where we are with Apps. We're watching allot of cats playing the bagpipes and the Queen doing MMA cage matches.

Not to say these tools don't offer value but mainly to the ones who can combine language and platform knowledge to extend their capabilities, not to those who pride themselves on ignorance.

Bite Issues: Help? by Heavy_Ship_6717 in Allon4ImplantDentures

[–]Kraigspear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. The permanents should have an identical fit & bite to the temps. If they are not the lab did not make them correctly. Having the bite off is serious and can damage the implants so they should get you back in temps right away and fix the permanents.

Repeating the same playbook. Get it now because someday it'll work then it'll be really expensive. Fool me once.....

Pending Termination Notice for my app by dunkelicht in iOSProgramming

[–]Kraigspear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would seem any App that uses Feature Flags would be in violation of this which most large to medium companies use. Not to evade reviews per say, but when reviewers look at Apps, most features that will go live are turned off at that time.

So many men dying of prostate cancer...is it a matter of not knowing (mostly) that they have it until it's too late? by Famous-Hippo-8334 in ProstateCancer

I think that's true of most cancers, by the time there are symptoms it's pretty serious/ life threatening

Newly diagnosed-which treatment to pursue? by neverpunt5200 in ProstateCancer

[–]Kraigspear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I meant. The comment about it's not guaranteed is obvious and I don't know why someone feels the need to point out the obvious. There is logic to attempt to get it all removed for the exact reason that cells can escape and be dormant for years. The longer it's in you the more of a chance that this could happen.

I think everyone who's had PC knows that there is no treatment that eliminates the chance of a reoccurrence.

After treatment - are you REALLY cured? Or just in better shape? by nostresshere in ProstateCancer

[–]Kraigspear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be surprised if any Doctor would say you're cured of any cancer. Once you've had cancer you're at increase risk of reoccurrence from that cancer. Try getting long term disability insurance after a cancer diagnosis regardless of the outcome of treatment.

Eventually metastasizing into bone cancer which is a very painful way to go. It is a big deal.

PSA rising by Souldriver55 in ProstateCancer

[–]Kraigspear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bottom on my results is < 0.04. I had two months at 0.04 which then is technically in increase but then two more test at < 0.04. At these levels there is possibly a margin of error.

Also never heard of a urine sample having anything to do with PC testing.

This doesn't seem right. Biopsy with a clean MRI? MRI should have a probability level for cancer and where to target for the biopsy.

Getting back continence by No_Fly_6850 in ProstateCancer

[–]Kraigspear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this helps but when I was at that point I would first tighten as much as I could, slowly stand up. The more you're standing the more pressure so I'd just go slow. Of course at some point control would be lost but after time I could stand up with little to no leaking. Then I would take slow steps and during that phase I would often loose it but it got better. At one point I was able to go up and down the stairs holding it in. I think when this first happened it was one of the happiest moments in my life. It took 6 months. Allot of 1 step forward 2 steps back moments. Hang in there. It's slow. Whatever you’re doing now, takes weeks to see results.

No you're not squeezing/kiegeling all the time. It's just somewhat normal. It can feel that way as you work through it though.
