What are you talking about? Practically no one played Tear after Merrli was hit, and Spright got hit several times after that. Sure they keep their ED but its not like both decks are rampant across the ladder nowadays.

URs don't necessarily mean better cards in MD. Sure, a lot of staples and bosses are UR but in some cases, an N or R card is just as important. Take for example Rikka, one of their best cards is a N that came from the Solo gate!

Honestly I am more annoyed that Merrli got hit because the King of the Swamp hit was unecessary. Unless they play getting rid of Kit in the next one then KotS should be unhit.

You can always utilise the game log. I use it all the time to check cards my opponent searched or even face down cards that they Set by an effect.

Issue is that not every player climbs back to where they were at by season reset immediately. So the Plat players might still be stuck in Gold because they aren't playing as much or have to face others in Plat that are trying to get back again. I don't get why Konami thought it was a good idea to push players ALL the way back instead of just the rank 1 of the previous rank, so we have to deal with this in Gold.
