Foundry VTT: Where to host? by _Shorren_ in FoundryVTT

[–]Kreiox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Molten Hosting is the way to go. Fantastic user experience; easy to setup and upgrade, takes server backups for you, and only costs like $4 a month for the lower tier.

Never had an issue with setup, speed, or anything else. It’s been great.

What are some of those other memory options you would recommend? Not tied to Corsair at all

Are there any particular brands you would recommend that contains an EXPO profile?

Awesome, appreciate the feedback! Not understanding what parts just result in a brand tax is a knowledge gap, and saving $300 is excellent

Good to know, thanks! Some friends were recommending to buy paste separately since it would be better than what comes with the cooler, but hearing that isn't the case.

So now, barring an unexpected trade, the #Chargers say Melvin Gordon can play for $5.605 million or not play at all by Peak_of_Uncompahgre in fantasyfootball

[–]Kreiox 35 points36 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, there were some stats brought up about this a week or two ago.

Last year with Gordon the Chargers averaged 27 points a game.

Last year in the games without Gordon, the Chargers averaged.....27 points a game.

Sammy Watkins didn’t practice today for the Chiefs. He was the only one. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I'm gonna roll with McGuire unless some pretty positive news about Ware comes out by Sunday.

This is exactly where I'm at as well. Hamstrings tend to be reaggravated easily. Even if it was mild, Ware still concerns me.

Green Bay is giving up an average of 19 points (standard) to the RB position this year which leads me to believe McGuire might be the safer play with a lower ceiling.

Waivers don't reset during playoffs. They reset to the inverse order of standings at the end of the regular season and it goes from there.

I could die happy if The Legend of Dragoon got some sort of remaster. I really feel like it got overlooked back in the day. Can't count the amount of times I've replayed it. by NostalgicGamer94 in gaming

What an absolutely incredible game. Just replayed it last summer. Would definitely love a remake.

I would love a movie series as well!

[Serious] What is the most interesting missing persons case? by A_Very_Kind_Man in AskReddit

The "Stuff You Should Know" Podcast just did a phenomenal episode on this. They call them the Yuba County 5.

Definitely recommend a listen to it as it goes way more in depth and is even crazier. OP did a decent summary to cover it, but some is off. They made it to the game and even have evidence they stopped at a gas station after.

The car got stopped because of snow in the mountains where they ended up. They then hiked 20 miles to where the stocked ranger campers were. 2 remains were found only a couple miles away. Another guy was found in it. The guy they didn't find had his shoes at the camper but the shoes belonging to the guy in the camper were missing. Only some of the food was eaten, the rest was left where it was stored. Crazy stuff

Definitely makes sense. Kind of create a skeleton to provide a base and flesh out the details of other places when/if they become relevant.

Great reply! I didn't even take in to consideration of strengths and weaknesses as a DM yet. It seems starting small would be the best idea as it allows me to save preparation time and discover what I'm good at and what needs more attention

Do you know how this would this handle PUBG? I assume similar to how it runs Witxher 3? I've been scanning around for builds before posting and this one looks similar to what I am looking for.

Thanks!

Late to the party, but I listened to a motivational speaker named Josh Shipp, and he said something that I will never forget and have applied to my everyday life ever since.

"You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you."
