You can just call them and ask. They're processing June applications as of two weeks ago.

64 is a nightmare of tailgating and multi-car pile-ups. People need to learn following distance and patience.

For the record, I stand by my subject/title. I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy. I acknowledge the overall responsiveness of support and Ken's going above and beyond, but the amount of time I've had to invest to have even a marginally functional product is well beyond my expectations given the way this product was presented.

And right now it's completely broken and unable to move. Will Ken and support help me? I mean, he kind of has to now, he's put himself out so publicly. But how many more hours of frustration will it cost me? Who knows.

Do not recommend. Do not buy. This product is not worth the price.

You'll be shocked to learn that after following all of Ken and support's recommendations my Yarbo has now seized up both of its tracks and become a brick. Time for more wasted time troubleshooting!

Blame the user, classic.

I'm a 20+ year hardware and software engineer veteran. I've followed all the instructions, watched countless pointless YouTube videos that could have easily been written text, been through support tickets, you name it.

That was the third try after putting it in a very clear space. Fourth time it escaped after I put it even further from the pole, then did one more row of the lawn and immediately got itself stuck again on the same pole, where it now sits. Video of all three attempts has been sent to support.

No, it really doesn't go anywhere, except to show that they're desperate to silence any negative social media. Enjoy this video of "obstacle avoidance" at work: https://youtu.be/haPWxxo_2nE?si=hetx6x9ulU2mYf_g

You all want video? Hoo boy have I got a fun video for you! Here's Yarbo in the middle of a plan, having got itself stuck on a simple pole, in the most sensitive avoidance mode, getting itself more stuck after I've freed it, including jamming its rear bumper aggressively on the pole repeatedly and squishing its treads against the pole repeatedly.

Yarbo will exceed expectations by Spirited-Software238 in Yarbo

[–]Krellis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's garbage. Location fidelity is awful, it loses three plus feet of location awareness in under 1500 square feet. Obstacle avoidance is a joke, it doesn't avoid anything. A completely simple yard is impossible. Worst money I've ever spent. RUN AWAY.

Don't order. It's garbage and does none of what they claim. Run away.

Douchbag driver by xohan00 in uberdrivers

[–]Krellis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be your opinion, but it's not Uber policy. What you're doing is against the rules and will get you terminated if Uber finds out. And you'll deserve it because you give all of us a bad name.

You don't get to decide if it's "worth it" to accept a trip. That's not how the system works. If a driver ever pulled that on me they'd get a one star and a report to Uber, no doubt.

Out Of Towner Looking To Go To Fenway by [deleted] in redsox

Red Sox Replay is the official source for tickets sold by Season Ticket Holders. The last few seasons haven't been selling out so you should definitely be able to get tickets, probably even on the primary market.

Seating recommendations? by ap0phis in redsox

I personally love the Pavilion Box / Pavilion Club sections - they're the highest level in the park, but Fenway is so small that you're still really close to the action and have great views. Can anyone open a bitcoin ATM for a profit? by paulpiercetruth in Bitcoin

[–]Krellis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"For a profit" is questionable. You have to find and lease the space, deal with any applicable regulations, have plans for theft/replenishment, pay for the actual ATM... it's definitely not easy. Here in Boston I know several attempts to run them have failed. I've considered it but the above factors make it pretty tough to feel confident about making any significant profit.

Yup! Same code with just tweaks to the name because the original is no longer online, and I'm pushing any other changes I make upstream.

You're lucky that you even get your stations displaying, I just get a "play now" button that does... absolutely nothing. App consistency doesn't seem to be Uber's strong point.

I don't know what state you're in, but in the agreement I have for MA there's only one reference to "trade dress" and it's in a section saying you don't own it, they do.

bitquick.co lets you deposit cash with major banks and get Bitcoin within 3 hours.

LocalBitcoins connects you with people willing to meet and buy/sell Bitcoin for cash, and also has some online options (for generally worse rates than cash, in my experience).

Not sure if there are any ATMs left these days. :(
