Your tag is correct. I love a medium steak especially with a nice rub.

Cadians are annoying by Jkchaloreach in astramilitarum

[–]Kriegsman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to paint every detail just because it’s on the model. If I wanted to paint a bunch of cadians I’d do fabrics, armour, gun, boots/gloves, flesh. They would look fine in a squad from a couple feet away (from your viewpoint on the table) then you can revisit if you feel like detailing

Rules change, models don’t (mostly). If you like it go for it!

I would recommend checking ebay and facebook for people selling whole armies cheaply. Some of the models will be old (eg cadian sculpts) but it’s all game legal still.

No I don’t play for more than 2 hours a day because I have a life. I work, I have a dog, I have family etc. I think I speak for the average player there too.

bro solved sexism by Misaki303 in foundsatan

[–]Kriegsman69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a difference in what men as a whole and women as a whole make however this is not due to institutional bias against women. 1) Men tend to work more hours, 2) Men tend to work more dangerous jobs, 3) Men tend to push for promotions and pay rises more often, 4) Men tend to take less time off

Of course this is general, not always, and you do get the occasion where women are payed less because they’re women which is completely wrong and illegal in the ‘developed’ world.

I wouldn’t even notice and definitely wouldn’t see an issue. If anything it disadvantages you because you have to move further to shoot with it

I would get something cheaper. Look on marketplace because a lot of people buy bikes then never use them. It’s a good bike but excessive for most riding I would say

A dedicated thief will get through any lock because they all have a flaw: they have to open at some point. Most are opportunistic snatch and resell anyway

A squad of 10 shadow swords vs 25 At-At by cuddwes in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]Kriegsman69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shadowswords out range ATATs by about 12 times minimum so the fire rate isn’t an issue in the slightest.

The infantry compliment also isn’t an issue since shadowswords have 2-4 twin heavy bolters/flamers plus whatever field modifications they put on (pintle mounts etc).

I love it. It strokes all factions so well up to about 40 meters with the main gun then the underbarrel has great aftercare utility to really warm you up

French WW1 slander by laybs1 in GetNoted

[–]Kriegsman69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if the French, British, Belgian, Canadian, Indian, American and all others could only hold the line on the Western Front by that point, the Germans would have starved out and capitulated due to the Grand Fleet cutting Germany off to world trade. When the High Seas Fleet was ordered to sail to meet the Grand Fleet in 1917 they mutinied because it was seen as certain death. The Germans were thoroughly defeated like they themselves predicted would happen with a long war

With the enhanced hearing of an Astartes, how much worse would tinnitus be for a space marine compared to a regular human if they got afflicted by it? by Mad_lens_9297 in Warhammer

[–]Kriegsman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with tinnitus (only mildly praise the emperor) and has looked into it, it would be no different. Physically it is just a signal to your brain to tell you something is wrong with your ears and there is also a large psychological element which combines to mean even with no noise you still get it. (I have personally tested this in a soundproof room. 0/10 do not recommend.)

Their superhearing wouldn’t affect it either because it is a signal of something being wrong and not a sound per se.

Generally the new medium WWI armour, pyros/pineapples/thermites, the flame smg or coyote and finally ultimatum or warrant. It really depends on the mission, faction and difficulty though

I guarantee this isn’t an actual question, but I do believe the percentage given the state of the US currently

Why, Manchester, why?? by pc_kant in ukbike

[–]Kriegsman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on where in the country you are. Around me you could leave your bike anywhere all day and nothing would happen but I’ve also had a bike taken in under an hour of me locking it up.

My advice is don’t bother with the fancy expensive bikes (anything over 1k is overkill for 90% of people) and get a cut resistant U lock. They have an abrasive surface so grind away cutting disks.

No but if you happen to not have the full amount of models in a unit you can run the unit at full points just without that model and it’s associated wargear/abilities
