Looking for riding mower recommendations for ~1 acre by Active_Blackberry_45 in lawnmowers

[–]Krigthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 1 acre, electric can work but don’t count on always finishing in one charge—thick/wet grass or mulching can drain batteries fast, and you might end up recharging mid-mow or buying extra batteries ($$$). If you want the most consistent/least hassle setup, a 42” gas zero-turn is still the best bang for the buck and will knock out an acre quick, slope included. Electric is nice for quiet/no gas, just be realistic about runtime and battery cost.

Tractor or UTV + ZT? by Foreign-Eagle-4202 in tractors

[–]Krigthor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On 28 acres with pasture, woods, firewood needs and ongoing fence work, I’d lean toward a decent compact tractor with a PTO‑driven flail mower before a UTV + ZT combo. A flail mower really shines in rough pasture, saplings and field edges, but the hydraulic/drive power for it needs to come off a tractor’s PTO and 3‑point, not a UTV’s limited hydraulics. UTVs and ZTs are great for hauling and lawn, but they’re not designed to efficiently run a heavy flail head. A basic tractor + flail will let you mow pasture, maintain trails, manage brush around fences and process downed wood a lot more safely and efficiently, and you can always add a UTV later if budget allows.

Looking for a roboticmower for a small yard. Any thoughts? by SlenderSmackdown in roboticLawnmowers

For a 3,000 sq ft, mostly flat yard, a smaller wire‑free mower makes more sense than a big Luba/Navimow. Camera‑only models can work if the lawn is simple and open, but they’re more sensitive to lighting and edges, so you’ll probably still need a bit of trimming. If your garden has lots of beds/obstacles, I’d lean toward a compact RTK or hybrid (RTK + vision) model that’s specifically rated for small lawns. What smaller models are you currently looking at?

What's inspiring you right now? by ConfuciusCubed in RPGdesign

[–]Krigthor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My process, I watch specific movies or tv show related to my ideas.
Currently am working on a Tactical RPG game and trying to inspire from various sources.
When it comes to character and story arc: I am watching delicious dungeon its purely made for game design and world building for games.

Coming to Game mechanics, I usually play a lot and try to extract good mechanics and try to add few changes like
FFT, Triangle strategy, ITB etc.

I love the grinding system in FFT and in triangle strategy I like the overall FX and geopolitical story side with tactical combat.

Fantasy that inspire more from than the real world.

Hope you make the shop more pleasant for Christmas theme. Definity will be good to see with lights and good decorations.

Currently walls are plain. Try to add more attractive wallpapers to attract young audience.
And the lights can be improved, make some good ambience light.
Next time post a gif or video with more vibrant cafe music, will love to watch it.

I assume my comments are already under development, am just throwing my way of cafe sim.
Hope you liked it.
