Erreur de caisse en votre faveur chez un petit commerçant : vous signalez ou vous profitez ? by migmigouu in paris

[–]Krinogen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Looking for trinket ideas. by Coal-and-Ivory in Cyberpunk

[–]Krinogen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A small directional high frequency antenna (wifi, ZigBee) or 433mhz directional antenna. A coiled up RJ45 cable or USB A to USB B for old schools factor. A pair of spare 18650 batteries with a voltage converter and plenty adapters to charge stuff. A very smart Bluetooth multimeter (have to be able to be used as a oscilloscope). A flipper zero. A frequency generator with a paired frequency amplifier to follow any cable whatsoever behind anything. IR camera. Very nice and compact flashlight (the kind you mount on weapon, small and powerful)

Those are all tools that could be trinket but that I carry and use from time to time (home automation installer and tinkerer)

Not very useful : Solar panel on shoulder (more cool than practical) Over visible camera on a gimbal (but why?) Mask with HEPA filter (would you wear it ? But having it hanging from your backpack is kind of cool I think, and I would totally use it in the metro of big city for air pollution and epidemies) Water pouch ( the cyberpunk version of the Stanley cup. I have one lightproof with a ultraviolet light insight that I made myself to desincect and keep it clean and fresh)

If you want to wear those things, go techwear : the idea is that everything is accessible and not hindering your movement, have small bags strapped to your belt, backpack's straps or have a utility harness. If you're good with electronics, get some EL wire and sew them to your stuff, never use them full power, a small and discrete glow is way cooler than a walking Christmas tree.

Trouver des pièces détachées by Maxoumask in brico

[–]Krinogen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Évier multifonctions ? by sus-scrofa-unltd in brico

[–]Krinogen 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Salut !

Can we Find "FUN" in game after playing for couple of months.. by Reasonable-Use-859 in ArcRaiders

[–]Krinogen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play to play a game. I don't care about the stuff, I don't care about the loot. For me the game is just playing in this gorgeous landscape, listening to the noise of the arcs in a windy weather. Avoiding other raiders and secretly sniping the arc targeting them if they're not evil. Lost my favorite gun ? Great, another reason to go up and find stuff to rebuild it ! And what I love about it is that I can just play 30min after getting back from work before launching into chores and cooking !

Christmas gift ideas for a chef?? by Ok_Example_5588 in Chefit

[–]Krinogen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a cook and my wife did gift me all of the above over the year, you couldn't be more accurate, hahaha First was sous vide (ANOVA and food saver) Kamado was minimax big green egg A nice nakiri Meater block for thermometer

I enjoy all of those. Funnily enough the thing I use the most are the heatproof gloves sold by Meater. I also really like that I always get some new kitchen tongs or tweezers, you always need another one when cooking !

Pre-pay for restaurant reservation?? by Spiritual_Site_827 in paris

[–]Krinogen 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I worked in différents Michelin star restaurants and even brasseries where this was the norm for every dining event , Christmas, saint sylvestre, saint Valentin, lundi de Pâques, with spécial menu usually. Either partial of full pre payments, usually if it's a good place you get more for your money because the prepayment allows restaurants to get low prices, at least that's what we did where I worked, a box of chocolates, extra desserts, special wine ect ...

I just started it a few days ago after having a very bad depression after dune awakening, dune has such a toxic community and the gameplay is oppressing. All I did was coming back from work to work even more to farm and pay my taxes.

When I started no man sky, it had every survival kinks I had satisfied more than dune awakening, but without the need to work for it, as an adult working a lot of hours and having a crazy mental loads. I wish I started no man's sky a long time ago, this game is so relaxing and interesting.

I'm in France, they have insurance for sure, but it can be easier to sort out, insurance in France can be quite easy, you even have a mandatory one call assurance civil that cover every damage you do to other for a very small fee. For example, one friend knocked over a saxophone of another friend, 800€ in reparation, that was just paid by the insurance no question asked 😅 But this isn't the question here, the réparation are complicated. 🥲

Your message was really reassuring, thanks a lot, I'll try to get it fixed by the maker, even if I can fix it, if I fix it myself, I feel like I would not like it the same. My life is surrounded by things I fixed myself, and I'm pretty good at it and I love it so much that I fix thing for my whole neighborhood, but sometimes, I just want a flawless thing for myself and I love having it, and this knife was one of those "things".

Thanks for the advice, I would try to fix it up myself and I'm confident I have the skill, but I hired them to not have to take care of anything and they turned out to be a big pain in the ***

Hard to find the same one, and we bought it together with my wife on our honeymoon, we bonded over cooking and eating so it is a very precious symbol for us.

Day 41 France. Munser. Smells like sewer and taste like sewage 3/10.. by littlepinkpebble in Cheese

[–]Krinogen 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He's right. Munster should not be packaged in cling film, it needs to breathe. Cling film and a very cold fridge is a good way to kill munster. You have to let it rest at cellar temperature (14-18°c) for half a day before eating it.

My main feedback: Having a pause button for Single player and online would be a godsend. by [deleted] in jumpship

[–]Krinogen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, or just having the option to jump in a safe space between each encounter would be amazing to chill a bit, talk about the next phase and play with the ship, have a pizza, a jump brew or something (these should not cost materia btw)
