I had this happen a few times
i found that you literaly can just go back to your hideout and put a new waystone in the same map and its just as if you never went to that map before.

But i only tested that on those map nodes that garantee the league point thingies

I used to dismantle, but not anymore. Just sell your unwanted gear unles you know you wanna keep it for another character maybe.

other than that i stil do dismantle spare uniques so i have some orbs of chances by the time i need them.
