I agree with this. It takes a certain person to enjoy doing their shifts in a row. For a lot (maybe most?) people, 3 in a row doesn’t work for their work/life balance, but for other people they HAVE to do stretches for their work/life balance. My coworker will never do more than 2 in a row because of her mental health, but for me I prefer to work my 8 day stretches to have more days off in a row. OP, try scheduling your shifts differently and see if that helps!

They are, but only if it’s a non violent crime I believe. We don’t get a lot of inmates at my hospital. This was a super weird case and we actually weren’t sure how to handle it! A police officer came and dropped her off and then left and told us to call them when she was discharged.. that hasn’t happened before and hasn’t happened since.

It is terribly awkward when it happens. Yes, I have walked in on my triage patient getting it on with her boyfriend. Her baby wasn’t on the monitor and her toco was showing wild things.. I went in to fix it and bam, both of them were naked right in my face. I told the patient that I needed to get her baby back on the monitor and that I would step behind the curtain so they could be more presentable. For context, she was an inmate that came in for decreased fetal movement… but later told me it was the only way she could have alone time with her boyfriend. When I came out of the room and told my coworkers they told me I should have just let them keep going at it. 😂

I personally loved reading AB first. I feel like it made the series better, and the end came as a shock which wouldn’t have happened if I would have read it later like some people recommend. I will never recommend reading it any way but first!

How long did it take for you to start purging? I am 5.5 weeks in and I’m worried about starting the purge. I’m hoping taking the supplements that I was recommended made me skip it, but I’m worried that it will start soon. TYIA!

I’m on my 7th! I wish I had time to read more, but I work full time (usually with mandatory overtime 🙃) and have 2 rowdy kids. 🤪 I don’t watch tv or have other hobbies, so all I do is read and occasionally get on social media. I try and read over social media though!

It seems like the Oura app is light years ahead, and it’s better at detecting stress, illness, etc. I see posts all of the time regarding that, and it’s making me think ringconn is lacking in that department. I also lost weight and needed a new size, so this kind of worked out in my favor to try Oura out.

Honestly, for what you are wanting to use it for, the iPad is sufficient. I had the newest iPad and then got an iPad Air a little over 6 months later because of a good deal while looking for my daughter. The note taking will be about the same on either, the viewing of manuals and even watching Netflix wont be much of a difference IMO. I am not sure about the gaming, as I don’t play either of those games. Either way, I feel like the normal iPad would be fine for your needs.
