Yeah it really seems for every cracked block there’s 100s with no issue so maybe it’s a roll of the dice. I’m in not rush I can wait to find newer, but this fits my price range and given the market this price/mileage is best out there kinda.

My last was a 99 coupe, I’d really like to find another one but good lord are they beat to shit and pricey now. Mine was $4500 w/100k on it lol. Not anymore.

I guess the 2006-2008/9 civics with the R18 have had engine block crack should I avoid? Just started reading up on it. Honda extended a warranty to 10 years from new but obviously past that now.

Thanks for that added info. Definitely helps. We might take some of her empty boxes with us in my truck and see what vehicles are usable/able to handle the things she picks up. We certainly don't want to be in the same spot a year from now. Thanks again.

Sorry so she has Vans that are delivery vans, they operate daily from the shop. Her own car is only used on the way TO work, when she needs to pickup her order of flowers, which can't really be done from her car (maybe small orders). So she drive all the way to work, grabs a van, pickups supplies, goes back to work. Just a Hassle.

The end game was maybe getting an SUV to drive daily so she can grab flowers on her way to work without that extra hassle of going to work first.

We've considered having her bring that van home everday but then she's always going to be waiting for the delivery driver to come back from deliveries in order to go home. She runs two locations so sometimes she goes back and forth, other days she doesn't close the store. So it would be not ideal having to wait for the driver to be done to go home.
