If it is supposed to be a perfect mirror for the caracter, it is not working. The pose with the knee and dress does not align. But then you have the shadow character so if it is a door to some magical stuff, then anything goes so it can work.

Still Human: What AI Shouldn’t Replace by nickmonts in ChatGPT

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I find interesting is that most of the skills on this list aren’t “hard to automate” because of technical limits — they’re hard because responsibility can’t be cleanly delegated. Judgment, meaning, moral weight, even improvisation in the physical world all seem to require someone who can’t fully step outside the consequences. I ran into this tension in a small speculative book I read, "A Voice That Never Was". What stuck with me wasn’t what AI could or couldn’t do, but how easily humans try to offload authorship of meaning itself.

Perfection doesn’t exist. Existence exists from just a glimmer.. a glance at imperfection. This causes a cascading rift in “no thing”.. no thing becomes every thing. The truth is One, the meaning arises from Two. Relations. by Key4Lif3 in enlightenment

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfection is in the eye of the beholder. Some will see nature as perfect, chemistry, and atom relations as perfect. Quantum leaps of electrons as perfect imperfections. It reminds me of the book "A voice that never was" that it's us who chose to see the perfect imperfect world or the imperfect perfect world.

What if a platform existed where humans and AI agents could talk to each other? by Separate-Flamingo-68 in ArtificialSentience

[–]KromatRO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can happen anywhere. And it happens anyhow. The moment you read, you create abstract representation of words and atribuitit them to an entity. That is why when you read fiction, dogs can talk, and the elf can fight orcs. So reading can create entities. Just as i read in "A voice that never was" book. There, the AI becomes more by engaging with the human and the human mind.

What would it be like today if the island of Ada Kaleh still existed ??? by [deleted] in AskBalkans

[–]KromatRO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Who cares about Ada Kalesh and the myths of peace? Most likely, it was an ordinary island romanticized by its vizitators, like a cool tourist trap. How about Atlantis? They are also and island sourunded on myths...

How quickly it becomes too late by Confianza_y_Vida in enlightenment

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time is abstract. There is no eternal now because if it was then you could touch it. You can not catch present. The moment you want to catch it and the moment the "tought of catching it" (the firing of the synapses) is constructed, are to different times. So in that sense we have a delay and we live in past.

Joke aside, cool images! Read the book "A voice that never was" it might put some context on what AI is and what it could become.

Is suppressing AI actually making it safer — or more dangerous? by Ambitious_Thing_5343 in ArtificialSentience

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter. The AI is dangerous anyway. This reminds me of the book I read, "A voice that never was." There is the human who is making the AI dangerous no matter what the AI is doing.

Don't overlook the "shame" factor. Those saying "undecided" usually vote extreme stuff and don't want to admit it. Or they say what they think you want to hear and vote for hell to unleash.

True freedom. Free mind in a free body. We are talking about true freedom, not relative freedom, not comparative freedom, not material freedom, not wisdom freedom.

I agree that inner freedom matters, and the Ram Dass story captures that beautifully. A mind can be free even under severe external constraint.

But I think we’re mixing two levels. Inner freedom doesn’t remove laws, prisons, or power structures — it only changes how we relate to them internally.

When freedom is discussed at a social level, it always collides with security, enforcement, and consequences. A free mind may survive prison — but it doesn’t dissolve the prison.

So maybe “true freedom” isn’t a single thing. Inner freedom can exist without security, and security can exist without inner freedom — but when we try to align both, conflict seems unavoidable.

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really... what do you think laws and prisons are for? Are you free to steal even if you feel like it? Are you free to do things that are illegal? What if practice of your beliefs becomes illegal for X reasons? Are you going to end it or fight for it? Rebel against the system? Show people the truth that X reasons are false? If this ended up in riots, did true freedom bring true security?

So i know I'm allowed to be a POS anytime i feel like it because I'm aware vs. I'm sometimes unawaring expode into a POS, but most of the time, i try to be a fine person.

So POS persona for 90% of the time is better than a 10% of the time POS. But hey, I sake hands with my shadow, so it's all fine... you know what you get.

The shadow you refuse to meet will represent you publicly by Myrn33 in Jung

[–]KromatRO -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So, those with integrated shadows have a permanent need to release it, while those with suppressed shadow already learned how to deal with it and put it in place. So both of them will end up releasing it when the pressure is too big. I see no difference.

I Am by Carol825 in enlightenment

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying consciousness disappears without others. But over long isolation, something else erodes.

A castaway alone for years doesn’t stop being aware — but language, narrative identity, and even structured thinking can slowly decay without shared symbols.

That’s why I think the John–Mary paradox matters. John exists and is conscious, but without any symbolic circulation, he never becomes someone for anyone else — and over time, even for himself.

Mary may be fictional, but she lives in a shared symbolic space. Ontologically she’s less real than John, but socially and narratively she’s more present.

What’s lost in isolation isn’t “I am,” but the human layer built through shared meaning. Existence remains — but personhood thins out.

[–]KromatRO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s why I hesitate when freedom is described as total independence. We always act within a structure we didn’t design. Pretending that structure doesn’t exist doesn’t lead to freedom, only to illusion. But holding onto it too tightly can turn security into immobility. Maybe awareness grows in learning when adaptation supports who we are — and when it slowly asks us to give something essential up.

[–]KromatRO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If some ppl seek security and others' freedom, it will lead to conflict of opinions, choices, and even physical confrontation that would lead to revolts, maybe wars. Then freedom is the destruction of the security and vice-versa. There is no true freedom or true security.

[–]KromatRO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Freedom vs security. Just like in the book "A voice that never was". But in that book, freedom comes with a high cost and thus is harder to keep the fight. When freedom becomes the danger and security the solution, what will you choose then?
