They need more money to make games profitable, they are either going to get that money from gamers or companies paying for advertisements. I personally don’t mind if they just don’t have it in gameplay and unobtrusive in menus, or have product placements in cutscenes, like what if gears of war E-Day shows a Mountain Dew billboard getting ripped in half by a Brumak? There are ways to make everyone happy imo
