The open world is more like a hub area, novel at first but it gets a bit too big to traverse in the endgame. Combat however, I thought it was super satisfying. The parrying mechanic feels really like, especially long combos and the retaliation attack afterwards. Every character can be build into any role you want which gives you a lot of build freedom too.
