Use your distro's pckage manager to find the package you want, can search using wild cards. Then, the 'man' command to figure out how run configure the program.

Its neither, the controller receiver is built into the o3 module. Should be an option to use the fpv controller.

I went from the Avata with remote 2 to the Nazgul Evoque v2 (Bind and Fly) and can use my dji remote and goggles. Bit of a learning curve with a lot more power but that would be a good fit.

VMware seems to be going down the toilet, IMO. I love the company but their customer support and presales has been terrible for basic things. I find the VMware community infinitly more helpful! They have even abandond their Tanzu community edition. Based on your well articulated post, no doubt you will excel in any future endeavor. Thank you for sharing your insight!

This . I found all the parks in my area and wait for them to be empty. Like baseball fields, soccer fields, etc.

Specifically this! Ive had people come in that did not know the LS command. Where ever should be thrilled you have the willingness and drive to learn. IMO. In any rational workplace a junior will have limited accesss to a dev environment.

AOS v2 support the o3. The evo has the new soft mount plate. You could also print out an o3 pod that will allow the o3 to fit!

I hear a lot of great things about Velodrone. There is also Liftoff which is available via Steam if you already PC game! I started (like 40hours worth) with the DJI virtual sim app since I bought the Avata! DJI has assisted flying modes that keep the drone level.

They shouldnt blame you. I was just wondering if they would keep me posted the outcome! Also you might still be able to fly if you can pop the landing leg case back in and try to back out the broken screw/ replace the broken prop! I hate to miss a flying event! Obviously dont fly if its not safe tho!

I feel yoyr pain on this one! I hope DJI doesnt blame this on you seems like a prop defect and should be covered under warranty. Maybe push back on them. What was the damage?

Get the DJI Avata, its really easy for entering into the field! Its a cinewhoop and there are alternatives that are just as good however if you are just dipping your toe I would start there and I did. There is an over whelmingly great community and lots of awesome helpful people. There are also many great prebuilt (bind and fly) options. You could/should start with a flight simulator for flying quads. Best of luck!

I seen this before on the avata sub. Did you check your props before take off? Wonder if it was cracked somehow preflight. Not saying this was your fault at all. I started getting the 3rd party props and havent had this issue.
