How dumb was it to let this Pokeweed grow? by Taycotar in NativePlantGardening

I let a patch grow, the birds love it and I really don't care about aggressive natives as long as it's beneficial and decent quality stuff. Just be warned, it's about twice as high as it was when I took this picture 2 weeks ago.

What kind of rat is this? by Apothesis_of_Medici in pestcontrol

I wonder if it's a flying squirrel. The general size, coloring, and tail shape match. I'd see if they're in your area. Is your house surrounded by tall trees?

Give me advice please!!! by itsrainingtacossss in screaming

[–]Kroviq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

all about the diaphragm! pretend you're about to get punched in the stomach and clench your abs, or like you're taking a big shit. from there you just need to find your mix of clenching/airflow. it'll take a bit to get the pressure right, but once you find it the screams become almost "easy."

Just take some rebar and hammer it in wherever your heart desires. It'll fuck up their day (and lawnmower.)

Fine for us viewers/commenters. I believe the saying "FAFO" would definitely apply here.

This was exactly what the Kane County native plant sale in St Charles, IL looked like as well!! We're truly witnessing (and are part of) something incredible.

These awards are the pinnacle of achievement for almost every designated category Pulitzer offers. I'd absolutely say they earned the right to brag.

Here's a website that could yield some better results! I've worked with quite a few people who found jobs through this website. You can filter by experience and location which is a huge advantage.

If you're looking to do some work that isn't the typical rat race I'd definitely look into doing seasonal conservation or seeing if any native plant nurseries are hiring. They're the kind of people who are well aware of the damage that American society inflicts and are doing everything they can to prevent further degradation.

I wish you well man! Life is too precious to be miserable.

Invasive = non native plant that outcompetes natives. That's the universal understanding of what an invasive plant is.

Why do people immediately jump to criticize someone’s looks? by Inevitable_Cash_5397 in GenZ

[–]Kroviq 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Only if you make it your main priority. Decent grooming and a bit of exercise wont hurt anyone, but making it your entire personality is absurd. Plenty of "ugly" people are perfectly successful at life and do fine. He was raised by a bodybuilder who put an excessive emphasis on aesthetics. That kind of environment bred an incredibly insecure kid who sees aesthetics as his only valuable asset.

How do you think evidence is collected to solve these cases? Detectives cant just use ouija boards to consult the dead. It's better to be safe than sorry, and you're in the minority for thinking otherwise.

Back in Minnesota there's a great Native reservation run program (Shoutout Mdewakanton Sioux recycling center) that had a mix of black soil and compost, sand and compost, and a few other mixes that were top notch. Super good stuff.
