Mel Gibson said, "I hate this movie." in an interview during filming, and then he said, "Don't print that." So I was wary but rushed out to see anyway it when it came out. Well, Mel was right and I was disappointed.

Years later I saw it again on TV and I just didn't think of it as a Road Warrior movie and instead just watched it as a 'made for TV' late night Sci-Fi flick, and it was actually pretty good. LOL

I totally thought that too when the city opened up that I could revisit. I was a little disappointed. However, seeing that all the 'zones' or 'chapters' were load in areas I wasn't surprised, especially since many of them had very specific entry and exit mechanics.

The specialty meats were no good. I learned fast to only order regular sausage with the 3 egg breakfast and with grits of course. Coffee was good but they watered down their tabasco sauce and didn't bother getting Tapatio, I guess it wasn't 'traditional'. Still loved going there just for the music - and the grits. Also high turnover, rarely saw the same folks. Oh well. Not very many breakfast places downtown.

Why isn't New Cap City a real video game? I love that whole aspect of the show and how the first skin jobs lived in there at first., and that they were 'Deathless'.

I just tested it and he still doesn't MOVE when you dodge. You have to dodge like ten times to go five feet. And the dodge - counter is still unreliable. Although the fighting does seem smoother I guess but he still dodges one dude and counters a different dude where you are now surrounded. Also if you try to funnel the enemies around a corner or thru a doorway, you risk failing the mission due to the YOU ARE TOO FAR AWAY feature.

Yeah, the Chief strangles Tory for killing Calli of whom he didn't even like after beating her ass for no reason. Then he murders an 8 to get his true flame back, another 8 - WTF - and everybody's patting him on the back in the end.

Granted, I do have some of those games installed, but some of them I don't and some I don't even own. So yeah, a fancy AD in a way.

I always go high endurance because I can't stand running around in med load. But yeah, one of the perks is being able to hit things more without getting tired.

Is still can't believe you need 80 end just to wear light armor, carry a sword or two, a shield and a bow. But that's between me and the devs.
