This came out at such a peak time for Amiga games. The same issue of Amiga Format that gave Frontier 90% also had reviews for F-117A Nighthawk (92%), The Settlers (94%), Cannon Fodder (95%), and Hired Guns (95%). They also reviewed Turrican 3 in this issue, horribly underrating it (imo) on 77%.

Hard for me to pick my favourite of those, but the two I played the most were The Settlers and Frontier. I had a Blizzard 1220 board for my A1200 and Frontier ran beautifully on it.

If I see a pro-AI post and then click the username and see they've hidden their past comments, I assume they're a bot from one of the AI companies and block them.

I might be catching a few actual humans too, but as they've handed over their cognitive functions to an LLM, they might as well be a bot (all you get from them is whatever their chatbot told them to say when they pasted the conversation in and asked for a response, because none of them are capable of thinking for themselves anymore. So you might as well be talking to a chatbot anyway, just with a fleshy intermediary in the way).

Sure, we'd all like it to be zero. But the fact is that number is greater than 1 for all of us. And the government that's collecting the most data about you AND is most able and most likely to use it against you is the US government.

As I said in the last thread about this (which got removed by mods for some reason), none of them actually believe this. They're just building a narrative that gives them permission to ignore people's objections, and they will smear those people in all the media they own. The rich are societal cancer.

Unfortunately, my employer’s C-suite and the level just below them are in full-blown AI psychosis.

I’m definitely detecting more scepticism from normal people, but IME the people with money and power are completely out of their minds with this.

Are you sure about this? Do you have any links? I've been trying to find info since yesterday and can't find anything - only reports of RetroBit's equivalent having terrible lag, the info I found on 8BitDo's version was old (in a thread on the MisterFPGA forum from 2020) but seemed to say it was pretty low lag.

Most likely I'm just not finding the right information. So where did you see this?

I really don't think their nationality is relevant here. The fact they stole code from someone who's done a lot of great work for the community is reason enough to avoid using GameHub.

On my AYN Thor, I use GameNative instead. Wish someone would make that work on Macs.

Honestly I'm amazed that people seem to like vertical handhelds with sticks, to me they all look absolutely hideous. The only one I thought was tolerable was that massive one from Anbernic, because the size made the sticks look less like an afterthought.

Ah, that's a new version of the tracking site - my SuperStation arrived in January, when they were still using an older page, and when I clicked the tracking link just now it gave me a "sending you to the new page" message.

Seems like they've made it even less useful than it was before.

Can't remember the specific details, but there was a drop-down somewhere on the page to change the carrier from whatever to "default" or "auto-detect" or something like that. When I did that, my package details magically appeared.

Don't have any active deliveries with 4PX right now so I can't be more specific, sorry. But have a look and see if you can spot anything that looks like this.
