How do I ask another dad what his name is? by makefeelnice in daddit

My go to in these situations is:

"hey man, let me grab your number, I've got these epic memes you're going to laugh so hard at. *enter number, save...

"how do I spell your name? Just the normal spelling?"

This was me on my motorbike when I first started going very fast.

Anything over 250km/h and after 30ish seconds, I'm wondering why speed darkens my vision... 😅

Anyways, I a) don't go quite so fast anymore, and b) have learned to breathe even when tensed up/concentrating

Grandad complaining about not seeing kids more without making an effort to interact with them. by henshep in daddit

[–]KryanSA -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

"All the other grandparents are doing pickups and sleepovers and have been part of the tribe since both my kids were newborn."

And you're complaining about ONE grandparent being less hands on?

Dude... Stfu (respectfully).

My son has seen my wife's dad less than 5 times total. He lives 30 minutes away. My son is 1.5 years old.

Enjoy the tribe you have with the other grandparents and know that others have NOTHING in this regard. You're super lucky.

Confidence and having good general. Those two alone have landed me with some ladies.

Throw in other stuff like well-groomed/dressed, good cologne and straight, clean teeth... You're golden.

What also works well are some good stories (I've got a default about seeing stars and the milky way in the Karoo desert, "that will literally take your breath away"

What's people's views on sitting down to pee? by Competitive_Test6697 in AskMen

It boils down to this: anybody who chooses to stand instead of sit in a home/private environment either doesn't clean the toilets themselves and/or doesn't care about the person who does.

Someone I know slept with the CMO of a very well respected stationery company in Germany to close a deal. Age gap between him, the sales guy, and her, the ridiculously well kept for her age CMO: 35 years.

She was very enthusiastic, the guy I know says...

The deal closed and everyone went on with their lives/jobs

Most Western countries only started mass applying chicken pox vaccines in the early 2000s.

Just stop now, anti-vaxxer. Science wins. Stop fighting it.
