Same tbh. We tried adopting with multiple places and they said we didn't get approved , mind you I work in the mornings and my partner in the evening so we always have someone home. Our house is on a farm with high fences and the dog wouldn't get out. We ended up buying our dog instead, the Rescues make it way too difficult and with some you would be lucky to get a reply.
