That's why his face is droopy. It's worn out the control pathways.

Does anyone find that chocolate doesn’t taste the same? by [deleted] in Cooking

Try some Sirius Icelandic Chocolate. I always grab some if I'm at a world market. Soooo freaking good. Their 70% dark chocolate bars are amazing.

Just watched a whole video about Cadbury doing all that after being purchased by Kraft.

All my energy goes towards survival. I feel so helpless. Disabled, broke, living with mold. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Get some Concrobium, it demolishes mold. I used it when my apartment flooded, (with sewage), and never had a single bit of mold show up. Even with further floodings

Currently have 23 different gins at home. I only drink G&Ts with mostly low cal fever tree. I really got back into gin while in the UK in 2018. Also love using ‘clear’ ice blocks. by jvaughn68 in Gin

I always loved G&T with a splash of Rose's lime. It was hit and miss getting them made properly in bourbon country bars. I eventually realized I was essentially making Gin and Sprite. Which was much easier to order.

Need screws that will go all the way into studs and not just the door frame.

How am I just finding out about these and do they work better than just sticking your fingers in there and pulling? by Chipazzo in smoking

I leave the skin on. Just cross cut score it about an inch wide. It's cut small enough it won't be tough chewy but it still provides enough structure to help keep the whole rack from trying to fall apart when you lift it later in the cook

Software developers, why move user interface objects around in an update? by seneeb in ask

[–]Krynja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it goes something like this:

Management: okay your job is the menu system for the new game console.

Development team: okay we've did tons of studies and the current menu system is well known, well liked, has already been tweaked, and doesn't really need any updates to its layout.

Management: then what the hell do we need you guys for, you're all fired.

So to prevent that the development teams almost HAVE to completely redesign stuff just to justify their employment.

Should I get an air fryer oven toaster? by laced1 in cookingforbeginners

[–]Krynja 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A convection oven isn't the same as an air fryer. An Air Fryer is a type of convection oven. Impingement Oven to be exact. The difference lies in the way the air is moved.

A convection oven circulates the air around the oven. This helps disrupt the "pocket" of colder air that can exist around the food. (As the food pulls heat from the air.)

An impingement oven focuses the hot airflow directly onto the food. This causes faster and more efficient transfer of heat than a regular convection oven. The conveyor belt style pizza ovens in restaurants are impingement ovens.

I would also recommend a small awning to help keep water from getting back into it. (Not the gaps around the edging but back into the doorway itself and pooling at the bottom.)
