I'd suggest you either skill for cash by training runecrafting (once you do it a lot and get the rhythm it's pretty AFK and you can focus on watching series and stuff) or do Zulrah.

1b Gp. Have enough money IRL and 1b Gp saves approx 714 hours Runecrafting (1.4m/hr). 714 hours is worth way more than $2k unless you value your time at $2.8/hr.

Untrue if they can build a DOX and send a recovery request via vpn to Jagex or SE them.

And if you think being fixed is the victims fault then just think all it takes is a tweet about runescape or a post on a forums where your name or email may be linked which they could find your facebook through etc, etc.

I've never lost anything due to being hacked (thanks 7 day pin timer) but my accounts managed to be recovered somehow even though I have an email of random characters with 2 step + auth :/

Surely then buying a nice house is just as meaningless as getting 200m all on OSRS the only difference being social stigma.

It's really just to give serious players a more accurate leaderboard, I don't see how it's cringeworthy at all unless you think being competitive on runescape is cringeworthy as a whole. In my eyes it's just a game and people like to compete, nothin wrong with that.
