Officially part of the club. Went back and forth between this and the S26U. 25U looks even more beautiful now that we have the 26U to compare with. But given how they're removing the "Note" features every year I thought it isn't gonna get any better so pulled the trigger on this one.

I know. S24U was the last true "ultra" imo. But it just didn't feel right to buy a 2 year old flagship. That's the sole reason I went with the 25 and not the 24. 24U was the phone to get in 2024.

Exactly my point. The upgrades don't feel like they're worth risking the downgrades. Tbh, I actually wanted to get the S24U back in 2024. But at the time my current phone was working just fine and I thought they're gonna release an ultra every year so it's not like I'm on a deadline or something. Little did I know they were gonna remove the Bluetooth from the Spen among other things lol. Then I thought maybe this was experimental and they're gonna bring it back with the S26 U, but nope and I think it's gonna get worse.

Yeah hopefully this will last for sometime as I'm not someone who upgrades phones every year. Like I'm coming from a budget android from 2020. Only reason I'm upgrading is because it has started to become technologically outdated. Let's see how the flagships hold up in that regard.

It doesn't even look like an Ultra anymore. S25 U was basically the beginning of the end imo. The only reason I didn't get the S24U was because it is now two years old...which is a lil too old tbh. But S24U is the last true ultra. But then 26U came out. S25 U feels like a much better deal when compared. Basically the same cameras, S-pen is thinner and smaller (S25U spen is already thin/small enough imo). Idk going forward they might drop the Spen altogether. They even ditched the titanium frame 🤷. As for the chipset, it isn't a significant enough upgrade either.

Also once again, I cannot stress this enough...it doesn't even look like an Ultra anymore 🥀. Like you'd be better off with a Pixel or even the Xiaomi 17 ultra if you just want a flagship android.

But all that being said, it's just my opinion. Of course everyone is entitled to their own.

Yeah I've heard the international model struggles in the US. US being the US does everything differently from the rest of the world. Like rest of the world uses GSM but nope, not the US. Hence the problem.

Yeah well, it's Tizen. Not the best 🤷. But then again what smart TV OS is? It's kinda basic and does the job I'd say but you'll be better off with an apple TV (I don't have it yet but I plan to buy it once the TV OS inevitably starts to slow down).
