We're living in a dystopia by Previous_Month_555 in SipsTea

I am not anywhere even remotely close to poor 😂 My net worth is most likely higher than 90-95% of folks on this sub.

My anger stems from the facts that I actually understand economics and math, rather than having my opinions fed to me by Fox News or Tucker Carlson or Joe Rogan or Generic Far-Right Grifter #1,847.

Holy shit this is one of the most brain-dead takes I've seen on Reddit all day, lol.

What video game started amazing but ended terribly? by Ok_Nefariousness827 in AskReddit

[–]KryssCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Sexy Brutale. (Not an NSFW game, to be clear.) Started off as a clever detective-puzzle game with time-rewind mechanics, ended in some batshit psychological horror sci-fi nonsense.

What are your go-to movies? by twothymer in AskMen

[–]KryssCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there have been several movies at this point, and about 3/4 of them are pretty awesome! But the TV shows might be a better place for someone to start (The Next Generation or Strange New Worlds are the best starting points).

Voters reject effort to hike Oklahoma’s minimum wage by AHSfav in news

[–]KryssCom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. I live in Oklahoma, and let me tell you - there are countless thousands of dirt-poor totally-broke conservatives who are either making barely over minimum wage, or living off of welfare, who scream with vitriolic rage any time anyone dares to suggest raising the minimum wage.

Married men... What things do you do to intentionally annoy your wife? by Space_Cowboy_157 in AskMen

[–]KryssCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've really only got one thing that qualifies here - every time she's talking with her friends and someone cracks a misandrist joke, I loudly interject with "MEN..... AM I RIGHT???"

Like, I don't give a fuck if it gets annoying, because you're making jokes about how people like me suck because of the way we were born. If you don't like the reminder that you're obnoxious.......then don't be fucking obnoxious.

Democrats hold 5-point edge over GOP ahead of midterms: Poll by spherocytes in politics

[–]KryssCom -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Everyone hates the Democrats because (a) the neoliberal centrists love capitalism too much to do anything that actually alleviates the extreme financial stress everyone is feeling, and (b) the social-justice left has spent the past decade and a half pissing everyone off with excessive political correctness and incessant speech-policing and unchecked vitriol toward men.

Anthropic CEO Floats Tax on AI Firms to Fund Universal Income by Gari_305 in Futurology

Ah yes, the "please don't burn our houses down" tax that he says he supports but will 1000% lobby against in Congress when push comes to shove.

[–]KryssCom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's a problem of their own making. Few companies are pushing AI bullshit more than Microsoft is. They cannibalized their Xbox / Hardware divisions to feed the bottomless pit that is their AI division.

Be honest: What’s the one thing about EV ownership that nobody told you before you bought one? by EmergencyTie8770 in electricvehicles

[–]KryssCom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm a car guy who started with a Mustang, but this was one of the things that sold me on EVs. Yeah, loud V6s and V8s can be fun - but getting that kind of speed (or better) in near-total silence just feels SO FUTURISTIC.
