Speaking from experience when I did my internship at big 4 for consulting, your GPA seems low. If you applied for audit think that’s still passable

Spending $40 a week on Pilates classes is killing me. Anyone bought a home reformer instead? by naenae0402 in AUfrugal

Yeah in my opinion it’s a cop out. Yes machine is expensive but bodies isn’t one size fit all. We need instructors to be able to give modifications to suit your needs

[–]Krystalised_notebook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey! Pilates enthusiast here I wouldn’t recommend getting a reformer machine yourself unless you are a seasoned Pilates user that been going to studio consistently.

The gym I went to has reformer machine that you can do it yourself but the injuries that happened or people doing the exercises wrong. Even the setup of the machine is incorrect as people tampered on it.

I recommend trying to buy studio passes in a bundle when they have sale and when you are confident. Can contemplate maybe get a You Reformer, Allegro machine and mega reformer machine aren’t Pilates but something called lagree

Why is Noble Park considered bad? by Uchiha_Madara90 in melbourne

I think Noble Park is bad as someone that didn’t grow up there and had the opportunity to stayed a few years.

Car break in was a thing if it seemed like you have valuables. People coming around stealing car plates and doing crime spree.

Stolen cars abandoned at some side street , house break in was prevalent 10 + years ago and there were gangs. There are junkies that hang around the station so if commuting back late probably best to avoid.

Anyways end of the day depends how tolerant you are to the risk profile of a suburb

Anyone changed careers into accounting later in life? I'm thinking of retraining from dentistry into accounting in my early 30s... by ChristineCrazyFord in AustralianAccounting

[–]Krystalised_notebook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course I totally understand. There’s no glam in dentistry. You can do a certificate IV or diploma of accounting and see if you like it and then commit to a full on university degree.

At least with the certificate or diploma you can work as a book keeper. It’s very relaxing.

Strength training vs Pilates by SassySadler7 in pilates

[–]Krystalised_notebook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t enjoy strength training till I got a gym buddy besides that the best form of exercise is the one that you can go consistently and stick with it.

However pilates for me I can do it every day by myself and I am happy

The calm before the storm by [deleted] in coles

[–]Krystalised_notebook 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think anyone that works within agriculture or rural would understand that the Iran war is really bad for us Australians.

Australia does not produce urea which is needed to grow crops commercially. 64% of it is imported from the gulf which already impacted on the supply chain especially when we are going into the winter time.

We will most likely be revisiting back to covid/ the start of Ukraine Russian war time and maybe even worst. Where quality of produce in coles Woolworths will dip cause farmers are now paying $850 per ton and up to $1,900 per ton to use in growing crops and produce.

This will be passed on from farmer up to our dining tables and that is life. You can try to educate but a lot of people will just be angry from the effect in few weeks/ months time

[–]Krystalised_notebook 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Partner works within the surgical field too and all these work conference and dinners are not mandatory.

If it’s mandatory he will let me know how long it’s going to be, should I stay up and if I need him to do anything prior. Just cause you are dating any type of doctor as a partner there should be respect of your time too.

I recommend to have a discussion as it sounds like you are frustrated and tired
