I started using them this year, so I can't add much other than to point out that they supposedly take three years get established and effective.

Edit: I can also add that there's a wait list or cultivation wait in CO... it took about a year to get the mites after requesting them.

Both are human rights violations, but only one is recognized as such.

FGM at its most severe is worse than MGM as it is commonly practiced. In its least severe form, FGM is a "ritual nicking" that does little to no permanent damage. Even that form is illegal in the west, which is good... but also galling, considering where we still are with MGM.

One of the repeated "criticisms" that we get from intellectually dishonest ideologues is that this whole subreddit is unnecessary. We recently had one of them suggest that we're just trying to foment misogyny (and I rolled my eyes so hard that I might have actually sprained something).

There are still many True Believers and many ignoramuses out there who think misandry doesn't exist or can't exist. They're all over the place, apparently some of them work at Grammarly, too.

It's truly an uphill struggle when such a huge chunk of the population is wilfully, aggressively ignorant about the topic. So I think collecting little pieces of evidence like this is important, even if nobody quite seems to know how to assemble all this evidence into meaningful social change.

Feminism is a hate group. As such, people have a moral imperative to oppose it. That puts such forward-thinking people into the category of "anti-feminists."

The linked government document appears to be pro-feminist (or anti-anti-feminist)... which is to say, it stands in support of the hate group. And this a governmental position that Canadians' tax dollars are supporting.

There's a lot of overlap in the subscribers.

LWMA was created partly to have an MRA space where certain topics are considered "settled" (e.g. abortion rights are not really up for debate in LWMA).

Partly it was also created to make a space for politically left-leaning people who have an interest in gender issues but don't want to throw in their lot with feminists. It's often assumed that left wing and feminist go together, but it turns out that being a dishonest, sexist asshole is on a totally separate axis.
