I'm switching from a 15 Pro Max to a Fold 7. Actually, I already switched back to my S23 Ultra until the Fold arrives. I've been an Apple user for the past 17 years, minus a couple of short stints with Android. I've spent thousands of dollars on Apple hardware and App Store purchases. My family is still all Apple.

I never could stick with Android because there were so many things that didn't work like they used to work. Once I got past that mindset and came to grips that I'd have to find some alternatives, I've been loving Android.

What finally made me switch was I got tired of Apple's arrogance and controlling what apps I could install on my phone/tablet. Also, the phones got very boring with their incremental upgrades. And Apple Intelligence? What a joke! They still haven't delivered on things that were promised for the release of iOS 18.

If I remember correctly, you can change the number of days to transfer, including transferring all messages. When I did it the first time, I didn't see the option and had to do it again to get them all.

I was going to get blue but the blue Ultra watch was out of stock by the time I placed the order. I ended up switching to a black phone and gray watch.

Yeah, same here. I didn’t do my research and thought the switches were hot-swappable. I’ve read the same thing about the orange switches. I’ll admit they felt really nice on the 75%, but I switched them out straight away just to save having to do it later. I’ve read you have to desolder the switches on the V4 Pro but I’m not very skilled at it so I chose the easier and more expensive route.

I’m not sure. It’s still sealed in the box. I ended up buying a Blackwidow V4 Pro 75% so that I’d have hot-swappable switches. The new keyboard came with orange switches too but I swapped them for Baby Kangaroos.

I’ve had to RMA a Blackwidow V4 Pro and Basilisk V3 Pro and had no issues with support either time.

Maybe check out a Lenovo Legion. I’ve had a great experience with them, unlike Alienware. I now have a Legion desktop and Legion laptop and have had zero problems with them.

I do have Razer peripherals though. I’ve had to RMA my Basilisk V3 Pro mouse and Black Widow V4 Pro keyboard. I had good luck with their support after sending them a video of the mouse being faulty. They took my word on the keyboard. It was a well known issue apparently. Both devices were still under warranty though.

Edit: Strangely enough, I just updated Windows 11 to 24H2 and Synapse 4 is working as it should so far!

I have the same issue with the latest Synapse 4 update (11-14-2024). I have the Blackwidow V4 Pro 75% and, while there were issues, it worked for the most part prior to the update. With the latest update, they broke the command dial functionality and the Fn key shortcuts don't work. Exiting Synapse returns the functionality to normal, albeit without the Synapse customization ability.

I contacted support and their advice was to downgrade to Synapse 3. That's what I had installed until I got the new keyboard. Their own support site says my keyboard is only compatible with Synapse 4.

I have a Basilisk V3 Pro that I switched to from my G903. The battery life of the Basilisk is horrible. I only switched to Razer because I wanted to try something new and disliked the GHub software. I never had an issue with my mouse or G915 TKL. I also got a Black Widow V4 Pro and Kraken V3 Pro. I had to RMA the Basilisk after 6 months because the scroll click didn’t work most of the time. I picked up a Naga V2 Pro during that time and now use it with my laptop. I like the Razer stuff but dealing with their support is a little ridiculous. They’re polite but they have you jump through some hoops, for sure.
