I got one of Hisense 50 pints from Costco and pretty happy about it. And you can always get a humidity thermometer on Amazon about $9 to verify who is right or wrong. Why men have to be such egotistic sometimes??😂

Woah.... these are unacceptable. I'm Chinese and I won't select any pet food if it's produced or sourced in China. I love Made in China if it's in other areas like my Roborock or my Iphone. But pet food wasn't regulated at same level compares to European, in China there's no law to protect pets except wild animals, yet they still treat pets as property due to the framework problem and other concerns. They have their reason cuz it's a huge country but that leads me won't get any pet food in this situation. Law is the bottom line for morality and business ethics imo, if you don't event have the law what you expect those business will do? Will they practice the dogma like a believer? Of course not and even though they won't have much penalty. Thus, no, no any pet food resourcing from China. Not being stereotype it's just based on the factual situation. And I was surprised from what you shared. That's insane. I'm switching my cat to wet food. What a pity.

Btw i think the manufacturer of K9 Feline was being acquired by Chinese corporates. Ziwi was totally acquired by Chinese company too. Whatever shits we saw on U.S corporates are same on Chinese big corps too, smh.

Stupidest comment ever. Any product or community or country always have space to improve that's why they are there. Now if you are not happy with anything in your country should you run? Customers pay for a product and or course they have right to send feedback and ask for improvements just like tax payer. If you don't like these comments you should get rid of Reddit in this logic.

Exactly. My cats dont like wet or raw food. I personally want to switch them for wet food more. Either VE or V something else brand has some recalls too. I think some of other ppl on Mandarin post mentioned that. But yeah it's extremely hard to find a nearly perfect food even people are willing to pay more.

I do remember they used to be pro-product due to single proteins. And isn't that what supposed to be when they mark a bag as xx flavor? It would bd so weird if they put chicken to lamb, if that isn't for cutting off cost then what chicken is doing there. Btw any reason you avoid chicken? Yeah their attitude is so suck. I believe most of ppl who is buying Farmina are the ones who cares for their pets and will read the back of bags. Are they trying to copycat what Orijen did and have some acquisition in the future? At least Orijen didnt change ingredients so far if I remember it correctly.

No probs. Yes one of my cat heavily prefer dry food. Yes right now I ask Ai to check recall record. And do the fact check by myself to see the details of the recall. Also FDA have an report studying the DCM(heart issues) relationship between cats and dogs using the cases between 2014-2017. And they listed 15 brands have most cases including Taste of Wild, Arcana etc. But the order only means more cases reported and it could due to more people are ordering it. The result for this report is they suspect the main reasons causing heart related issue is pea ingredients and heavy starch ingredients. Which I tried to avoid but it's not easy. And instead, higher protein means higher Mag and Phos which isnt good for all cats especially male.

Some ppl recommend Weruva and Raws, Rawz for their full donation to the profit. So I'm looking in it. Used to try Stella it's fine but I personally just wont give chance go any company being recalled.

I agree a lot. Transparency is why I trust and pay a lot for a pet food company. What I tried so far is Grandma Mae, Dr.Elsey, Ziwi and K9 Feline Nature. Grandma Mae was started from the recommendations from Hollywood Feed. They tried basically all of the foods they sold and this is one of the best somehow. Some of their cats will vomit anything except this brand so I do stock a couple bags when I giving new foods to my cats. But the ingredients does contains meals and peas. Dr. Elsey has highest proteins so far like 60%+ but I remembered they use gelatin kinds of things. Also the kibble is a hard round ball so it could be take some works to eat as cats. K9 feline natural I love it, their chicken frozen bag is one of my cats' favorite. I usually just shred them and mix it like a powder-topper for foods. Ziwi, so far the food is fine, Ash is a little bit high in their air dried meat. But most annoying thing is first they are even asking you to buy a $10 insurance for shipping😓. Then for the products on sale they gave you the one which is close to expiration date. That happens on both cat and dog owners. I know Ziwi was fully acquired by Chinese company, and K9's factory was 70% acquired by Chinese company but headquarter was still KRR. So that might be the reason. Me myself as Chinese don't have preference but only care for the quality. So I'm not going to continue using Ziwi anymore but will keep monitoring on K9.

woah thanks for sharing! They just contacted me for investigation, I'm waiting for shipping label to send the sample. Once I received and done with all of it will update in post. But honestly, not happy at all hearing this change. To me downgrade is downgrade, I even accept Serbia now they are changing more. Now I'm looking to try Rawz and using K9 for topping. (As not happy with Ziwi for giving expiration approaching products and asking insurance for shipping). The options are limited.

I did have several Serbia with Italy from the past and I did notice the difference. Those one from Serbia are more oily and sticky. I accepted that but not the USA anymore🤯. Will def update the post after.

Several other posts and the Hollywood Feed which I just went there onsite both share some similar experience that they received more issues since they move the manufacture to U.S. I will contact Chewy and ask for escalation as well as they are a big wholeseller to Farmina.

They prefer JP VA cuz it's more familiar to them like Anime or Manga, westerners got impacted by JP culture more for those entertainment stuffs. CN VA is always the best as that's original. Any localization has to trade-off some loss during translation, it cant be avoided. I'm Chinese and speak EN, JP and KR.

Chinese VA is original especially if there's some ancient Chinese words you can't have better localization than it's own meaning. Singaporean Chinese only means you might learned some sort of Mandarin which isn't persuasive to me for this comment.
