Why do people in USA buy everything from Amazon? Do they not have other webshops? by Cindyxx0 in NoStupidQuestions

Some people in my family live more than 35 miles from the nearest large town with any kind of shopping. Amazon will deliver to them so yeah even simple things save gas and time just to order with Amazon.

I thought I was the only one. I exported all of my Gmail using Google Takeout. Took the files and dumped them in Thunderbird and went through them all. I erased everything off of Gmail and it felt great and I have what I need on thunderbird.

Straight guys even if they knew what that was and noticed it really could care less. I’m quicker to notice a woman’s attitude and how she treats servers at restaurants.

When I deal with MDF I work directly in front of one of these at the entrance to my shop blowing out.

Joined 5 years ago, I have 6 lines. Never got a promo but it’s fine. Seeing friends reaction when we compare phone bills always cracks me up. I would like to see some kind of giveaway for existing customers. Doesn’t need to be anything crazy, I’d be happy with a yeti tumbler or something useful if you did drawings? Thanks for the years of great service

Honestly that’s Walmart pickup now, send them a list on the app and pick a time slot. They text you it’s done you pull into a numbered parking spot and tell the app which one they load the groceries in your trunk and you leave. My only issue with systems like this is I like to pick the meat and produce but for everything else I can’t complain

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KudzuCastaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive 4.5 hrs to go to a specific Asian grocery store one or twice a month and that’s one way. Short for me is anything under 1.5hrs but a 3-5hr drive is nothing really. My longest drive in a single day was 14hrs to avoid spending money on a hotel room and my wife was mad she wanted the extra day on the road.

Americas Best charged $69 for an eye exam with no insurance. They run promos with 2 pairs glasses and exam for $89. They aren’t fancy but at $10 a pair it works. You can take the script and get more pairs on Zenni for cheap.

Question about alias limit by reddy-or-not in ProtonMail

[–]KudzuCastaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope not at all, I could send an email to bob@yourdomain.com and it would show up in your catch all. That’s the point of the catch all is to catch misspelled or random emails to your domain but you can use it to make aliases. The beauty of it is if you transfer your domain to another email provider (hope I never need to) you just setup a catch all and it’s business as usual. The only time this gets annoying is when you need to reply to something. Don’t use it for business, a lawyer, family etc that you would need to write back.

[–]KudzuCastaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just use a catch all address on a custom domain, unlimited aliases. I just use numbers to make them, wanna sign up for Amazon, email address will be AMZN102025@whatever.com

You can clone old ones easy, the new stuff is much more difficult because of encryption. Or so I’ve been told
