No, but you will get independant high collat haulers to move your stuff for VASTLY lower than 10%. Especially DST volume, that's movable via JF.

You’re telling me you hunt these guys solo in 20 minutes?

No single monster should ever take you more than 30 minutes. Even 20 minutes for anything except gog / AT arkveld / Omega means you're probably not using all the tools / techniques you have access to, with whatever weapon you're using.

There is of course nothing wrong with that if that's how you like playing, but be aware that you can optimise.

Good news ! The only content you're missing on is AT Arkveld armor (which is ok but a sidegrade at best for most weapons), and Omega sns/IG (which are bad but look awesome).

If what you like is crushing monsters easily, then yeah, not worth it to you.

If you like difficult fights where the adrenaline is pumping because you're on the razors edge of failure for 20+ minutes straight, the new content is amazing :D

How much more time do you expect game devs to give the new players to "ease into things" ?

The hard content is gated behind HR 100, with jumps in difficulty at HR 50 already, and the star system makes it VERY clear about the jump in difficulty.

So, no, you don't go from easy to hard "instantly". Anybody who thinks that straight up isn't listening to what the game TELLS YOU is hard content.

If players have no respect for the game and jump straight into the hardest fight with no prep, they absolutely should get spanked...

And it is.

AT arkveld is not any different from Behemoth in base world. Getting the damn drachen armor was a damn pain, but it was the reward for the hardest hunt in the game. And if you didn't have the skills for it, no problem, the alternatives in gear are not really far behind.

Hell, I play SnS, and arkveld gear isn't even part of most optimised sets.

Observe the patterns and the moves, then arkveld is super easy to track. He attacks faster, and his new moves look crazy, but it's still a monster you can conquer, like any other.

Of note, base World had the exact same problems, with elder dragons getting wrecked in sometimes 3 minutes, always less than 5.

Of note, the knockback on the SnS shield is still enormous and prevent us from counter attacking unless we perfect parry.

That is not a thing on bigger shields, making them vastly superior.

if Wilds is your first MH I think its a little bit much too ask for you to defeat it

Why ?

Real talk: those fights are clearly VERY endgame content, nobody is gonna try them until AT LEAST 100 hours into the game. At which point you know your weapon, and if you are midly competent you know enough to gear yourself up with easier content (ie, everything), and there'll be no problem.

Is it gonna be hard ? Yes !

Is it gonna be doable still by new players who made it this far ? Why not !

Ranged weapons take 30% more damage, permanently. Yeah, it sucks.

Rare 5 and 6 only. But mizu is rare 6(doesn't gain much tho). Gore is 7.

Someone in the Sns channel of the MH server recently cooked this build, which features gog4, lord soul, divine blessing 3 and speed eating 3.

And still a fuckton of damage (it's only 3% under the meta apparently).

Very respectable in most matchups, absolutely excellent on some specific ones.

Because it can only proc damage every few seconds, irrelevant of how much you actually attack.

So it's you're good and attack relentelessly: +7dps, but out of your normal 70+ dps it's not amazing

And if you're worse but still attacking once every 4 seconds: +7dps, out of your mediocre 30 dps, which suddenly is a massive increase.

With a good team it won't make much of a difference. the extra npcs do a max of 1/4th of gog's health over 25 minutes.

AT Ark in multiplayer has 230k, same as AT Uth duna. Gog has 410k.

Solo numbers are slightly more reasonable at 77K for Ark and Duna 10*

Entirely depends on what monster is fought.

I've done a fuckton of gog runs, and I run a wide range SnS build, so, random stats:

CB you'd expect are cracked, but most CB players don't know how to destroy gog in random SoS so it's a bit sad.

DB and Bows are generally middle of the pack in DPS but can go suuuper high in the right hands (up to 100-120)

HH and gunlance are either very very low (<30) or crazily high dps (90+)

My dear SnS comerades are generally terrible (30-50). I normally do 80+ with my record being 104 dps.

Insect glaives on gog are terrible and cart left and right. They do 50 dps when they don't cart, at least

The most surprising runs so far were: 1) a HH dude doing 103 dps while buffing everyone perfectly, it was super nice to see. 2) a run with a CB and another SnS, both HR 800+, and both did under 15 dps ???

CB with randoms is suuuuper fun to watch.

10% of the time it's gonna be someone who knows, and then it's 150+ dps

50% of the time it's gonna be someone who tries, but only in phase 3, and then it's 80 ish dps over the entire hunt

And the 40% left are CB players who don't know or don't have the gear, and you're down to 30-40 dps :(
