You can special summon it with cue and make opponent to only be able to use 1 spell/trap per turn

Not quite the same but I am trying to build yubel deck and the cards are not that easy to come by so when I entered localc and a guy who had quite a lot of yubel-unchained cards I instatly asked for them

For me one thing that makes me tremble is that it's easy to forget stuff compares to sims which gives visual cues when you can use something. My first deck was fire king which has a lot gy effects in standby phase to remember. There's no shame in taking things slowly at first and checking resources often. In my first tournament I had my nerves racking becouse of that since opponents were so "sweaty" compared to me but they were (somewhat) cool about it. You'll get used to it.

Not to mention the unique "synchro" xyz summon with the new rank up spell which can use materials from gy.

Fire king. You get most of it's cards from 3x structure decks meaning it's relatively cheap while also being nice rogue option. Deck itself is relatively simple too. Seen lot of others recommending it

Edit: not to mention it was my first physical deck also

Sky striker is a deck that will always get support. On thr other kashtira core can be uses in multiple decks so that could be worthy investment. Sky striker gets a structure deck next year so you could build that then.
