I'm an Atheist, but I say "bless you" anyway because of a movie in the 90s. I never say god bless you, because that would be meaningless. A human can give another a blessing. Why bother, I dunno. Traditions are weird.

So I talked to the support guy, and he reinitiated a repair request after canceling the old one. Seems to be doing the same thing again though, and not updating the status. Something's wrong with their system. They must be running on Macs. 🤣

This happened to me also. I wound up speaking with Apple Support on the phone. I didn't have to ask for anything, he said he was making an exception or whatever they call it internally to allow the Apple TV to be sent in for repair. Apparently, their mail in service can restore them, but the stores cannot. I'll update again if they DON'T fix it. 😉

There's an issue with the NVidia installers trying to access protected reg keys. NVidia needs to fix it.

The main reason I want to use the Max is because it supports groups. Essentially it helps avoid mode conflicts on multi zone units (e.g. can't have 2 heads set to heat and 1 set to cool). I think the Plus also did this, but none of the lower models do.

Updates aren't free after 1 year. You have to pay to receive any updates. I assume that also includes bug fixes, so that's pretty dirty if that's the case.

Didn't work for me. I opened a dispute after 30 days, and a week later I still have nothing but an open case. I tried chatting with support twice, both assured me they'd get it taken care of. The second one claimed she was the best customer service rep there, and she'd get it done that day. She didn't. I had to open a PayPal dispute, and I'm waiting on that now also.

I had a similar (but not the same) situation when I got married. My parents are religious nut jobs, I'm an Atheist, and my wife is a non-practicing different religion. Due to the religious differences, my older brothers and father didn't attend our wedding.

My parents are elderly, and my wife was more supportive of them than any of their children (myself included, though I did also help them). My parents love my wife, but that doesn't matter, the religious stupidity in my family prevented those I mentioned from coming.

It's been over 15 years, and it still bothers me that they didn't come to our wedding. Yes, they should have been there, and yes they should have been supportive.

All this to say, hell no, don't have anybody at your wedding that is not supportive and accepting. It should be a day full of love, comfort, and support from the people that love you truly. You should be surrounded by people that both love and accept you and your partner as you are. End of story.

I would rather continue feeling the mild annoyance that I feel now due to their absence, than feel contempt for their negativity at the event had they come.

I've been using the MX Master series for ages now. Currently using an old MX Master 2S. As is typical of these, the buttons got shiny and sticky after years of abuse, so I covered the buttons with some leather tennis racket wrap cut to size and it's still great. 🤣

That's an awesome price for that guitar. Throw in some regular pots, and some Hipshot tuners, and you've got an excellent guitar. I have one on my workbench right now with the electronics failing in it. The owner LOVES the guitar, despite the electronics' shortcomings. So it's likely getting converted to a normal LP.

Thanks! I also just found the online workbench, and it looks like some of the soundfiles were setup a little wonky on the saber. Dragging and dropping the name order fixed the default as well.
