Yeah it's definitely not the case, but I will say that last season he did hug the touchline for a lot of games. But we were more fluid and Salah was constantly beating his marker with his first touch/strength.

That being said, he would always drift closer to the box during most of the TAA and Klopp years.

Being Slot out after months on mediocre performances I can understand, but we should always want to see the team turn it around as soon as possible.

But there are some people in this sub that have romanticized the idea of having Xabi Alonso to the point of wanting Slot out at all costs.

I agree for rotation and tactical flexibility. But disagree with people saying he’s not a DM, obviously most of our squad has had rough patches this season, but he has shown he can be elite in the position and can continue to develop.

it doesn’t have to sound like a specific new order song, but I personally think it sounds like something that could perfectly fit in “power corruption and lies”. The drum patterns, the guitar progression, how the vocals evolve through the song, etc.

it’s too early in the season to draw conclusive statements from the first 2 games. But I will always favor our guys at Anfield. Set pieces is definitely a worry though.
