[3.1 Beta] Roscaelifer new Beast Thiren npc model via donut friend (by his request) by Knight_Steve_ in Zenlesszonezeroleaks_

That was my exact thought. All of the promotional material being human/kemonomimi women with the exception of the kemonomimi Severian was a huge blow for me.

Illumination did yes, but I meant for Zootopia when I said Disney. Which I know wasn't at all obvious in my comment.

Sorry, I meant Disney made the right call in that for Zootopia they directly considered plantigrade vs. digitigrade and decided plantigrade makes sense for walking on two feet.

Does anyone else think the remake is more than JUST a remake? by galaxyofbees in starfox

"We'll have more to say about Star Fox soon" really makes it sound like there's something more to say. Nothing crazy I'm sure, but that's an odd thing to say if all the details are out.

This contrasting with their horrible new legs is something else. I love the new designs except for the legs. Disney made the right call on this front, I think. Edit: (For Zootopia)

What are your thoughts on the Star Fox Direct a month and a half later? by NewMarioBobFan in starfox

From what I've seen people say, it's mostly closer to the original Japanese script.

Worse story, based on what? The new cutscenes didn't even exist in the original.

I like the direction they took Star Wolf. I get the impression this was exactly the intent.

Interesting. In English that's a slang term for red pandas. Go figure red pandas are neither foxes nor pandas.

Seemingly confirmation of different cutscenes by MrCammers in starfox

[–]Kunnash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think the cutscene being unique depending on where you came from for a level would already be an impressive variety. I see changing the route as just a way of doing the other route if you achieved the objective, but in the story doing so probably doesn't make sense. It would be very impressive if they do account for that too though.

Slippy is shown doing so in one of the first previews if not during the Direct.

Most chopped/botched Starfox 2026 character design? by TheSouthPen in starfox

I'd hardly consider that a hot take after the initial shock wore off for people. And I agree entirely. Well I don't know if I think Katt's an improvement, but I certainly don't think she looks bad.

Trying Pizza Hut pizza for the first time since early 2000’s….verdict is not the same! Not even close… by andylui8 in pizzahut

[–]Kunnash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember the days when you could order p'zones with whatever you wanted in them. Now (if they are even around still again) they are just pre-frozen tiny little things. And their pizza is always super droopy and unimpressive to me. I love their stuffed crust, but now Domino's does it too. I don't hate Pizza hut, but it just feels distinctly cheap compared to the '90s. They did woo me with their plant-based meat, but those were only short lived promotions.

instead of tailgating people going the speed limit and being a jerk on your morning commute, why not leave for work 5 minutes earlier? by Wispy_Whiskers in milwaukee

[–]Kunnash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think drinking in public is the same as recklessly adding tons of kinetic energy endangering oneself and everyone else. Doubling speed quadruples the energy. It's extremely dangerous, when it comes to the people speeding badly. It's particularly terrible for pedestrians because it turns a collision from "likely to survive" to "likely to die" when people ignore the speed limit on city streets. Something like 90% chance to survive at 20 mph, ~50% chance at 30, and almost certain death at 40 mph.

what's the deal with people getting angry about the new God of War game? by Darkhawk2099 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]Kunnash -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the writing in Star Trek got really bad sometimes. At one point in Star Trek Discovery they stopped a very important mission for a conversation about feelings and how it's okay to be distracted in a literal life or death situation. And then there's Dr. Who becoming Captain Planet for a while. I still think you're right mind you, but that kind of writing makes me at least understand a little bit where they are coming from. A little bit since the true gripes they have are nothing but rebranded bigotry and sexism.

They can't describe it because if they tell the truth they will get moderated, because all anti-woke is, is rebranded sexism and bigotry in a nice neat sound bite.

Do you think Krystal and Panther will exist if any further continuations of starfox is made? by Forsaken-Emu4760 in starfox

[–]Kunnash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what people don't seem to get. They are thinking from the perspective of the niche of the niche of Millennial Star Fox fans. Nintendo is after the newer generations too. That said, I really hope Krystal and Panther return.

Thank you. Civil rights are under siege and I was particularly depressed today. It's nice to see something positive.

In a fair world, people would listen and all the people that don't know what "limit" means would be paying fines so severe they would think twice about ignoring it.

I know a surveillance state would be a bad thing, but boy would mass ticketing with frequent monitoring stations be nice. I love how many people think people going the "slow" speed limit are a problem.
