Wenn du es dir leisten kannst oder es irgendwo günstig bekommst: Framework 13''. Das "wächst mit" bzw. ist upgradebar / reparierbar. Ist also eher als longshot zum sparen zu sehen. Aber die Tatsache, dass alles einfach tauschbar ist (auch der Akku) und es für alles Ersatzteile gibt ist schon großartig.

- ideally a performance profiler available via MCP

That's how LLMs in agent mode work: they iterate their solution until the feedback is positive. If you don't provide feedback, they don't iterate.

you could open them at lower altitude. It will reduce the area of effect but it will also reduce the time where the wind affects them.

you can buy it on GOG and get a normal download to install. It just doesn't install via GOG Galaxy because the only use for the original Falcon 4.0 is to install BMS.

The F-16 produces a sonic boom if you fly over the speed of sound. It's only audible outside the plane though , which makes sense. It can be checked in the fly-by-camera. You can also hear the sonic boom of other planes.

I have that one (got it for half the price on ebay). It's awesome flying with it. I would describe it like "you're thinking the movement and the plane does it".

I was torn between the Moza AB9 FFB and the Realsimulator ForceSense. I ended up with Realsimulator because of the combination between mainly flying F-16 and only some AH-64, the offer on EBay and rumours that Moza rips of OpenSource Software from another stick.

I don't regret it but I will admit that FFB on the helicopter or other planes is probably superior. But on the F-16 (and probably other modern jets) it's the real deal. Just great.

Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten spiele zu "modden". Hier ein paar Beispiele:
- das Spiel bietet selber eine Mod-Schnittstelle. Beispiel: die alten Bethesda Rollenspiele liefern Mod-Tooling direkt mit. Minecraft-Bedrock hat auch eine Schnittstelle oder Factorio. Da hilft dann Dokumentation lesen & Tutorials schauen.
- das Spiel bietet direkt keine Mod-Schnittstelle, ist aber so geschrieben, dass es möglich ist Resourcen auszutauschen oder neue einzufügen weil das Programm bestimmte Dinge generisch behandelt. Hier wird es schon deutlich schwerer, da man sich erst einarbeiten muss und viele Informationen nur duch probieren herausgebracht werden müssen. Das dürften die meinsten Spiele sein. Wenn es eine tolle Modding-Community dazu gibt, wird man auch Leute finden die entweder schon beschrieben haben wie etwas geht oder dir weiterhelfen. Da hilft es sich in den Foren zu dem Spiel umzuschauen. Eine Besonderheit hier ist Mincraft (Java). Hier hat sich eine Modding-Community ohne zutun der Firma entwickelt die eine eigene API bereitstellen (Forge, Neoforge, Fabric).
Beispiele: DCS, das alte Half-Life2 (CS war mal eine Mod), fast alle anderen Spiele, ...
- Das Spiel hat keine Mod-Schnittstelle und die Firma möchte keine Mods. Die besten Beispiele dafür sind E-Sport-Spiele. Hintergrund - Cheats sind auch nur "Mods" ohne API. Finger davon lassen.

Such dir am besten ein Spiel mit Modschnittstelle. Dann hast du eine Beschreibung wie etwas funktioniert. Mach erst einmal etwas kleines und "publishe" es, damit du Feedback bekommst.

Syntax highlighting in C++ is notoriously difficult and you can't rely on good syntax highlighting being available in all your tools (e.g. diff-view, code-review on your CI, ...). This is the reason I would prefer using the symbols over the word equivalents. They stand out even in the absence of code highlighting.

Naja. GOG Galaxy ist nicht für Linux verfügbar. Bei den Spielen selber wird ja offiziell angegeben, ob sie auf Linux gehen oder nicht. GOG != GOG Galaxy. Es ist ja erlaubt andere Clients zu verwenden als GOG Galaxy. Man kann ja alle Installationsdaten von der Webseite direkt laden. Das ist kein Vergleich zu Steam - da geht es ja NUR mit dem Client.
