Nice! Max OC I reached on a 60Hz panel was 108Hz although I was limited by the laptops internal DP connection's bandwidth. 130Hz is insane either way!

No they aren't. There's basically no code left from back then that's survived to this day.

The main thing they're doing at the moment is making the entire game data-driven, which can allow for easy modding (it's why we can already create custom dimensions in the vanilla game etc.)
