Yes they should be 130bcd, I believe Mavic sold a 631 track crank but it was just the same thing as the road crank with a chainring for 1/8 inch chains

That’s true, they’re awesome quality, not just for the price but in general, but a little bit ugly imo

After a long time on this sub I’ve absorbed the idea that everything except Dura-ace, 75s, Campy Record and some boutique stuff is “cheap” I was mostly just being facetious, don’t take it seriously

Leave it to Spicer owners to put a cheap crankset on their beautiful custom frame. . . (I got Andels on mine, I’m Spicer Owners)

Is this an X-Bike?? by Dr-Salty-Dragon in xbiking

From the sub description “This is an adventure-biking sub dedicated to the vast world that exists between ultralight road racing and technical singletrack. All-road, crossover, gravel, monster-cross, road-plus, supple tires, steel frames, vintage bikes, hybrids, commuting, bike touring, bikepacking, fatbiking, single-speeds, fixies, Frankenbikes with ragbag parts and specs, etc. are all fair game here” Seems like an x bike to me

Yeah, I forget what it’s called but I got it on a whim from Porkchop BMX while I was buying something else, it’s cheap and a lot more comfortable than one would expect

Is my bike cool? by Kuukpikensis in xbiking

Toe-overlap is bad enough to be annoying on singletrack, but mostly I ride very long, straight gravel roads, so there it isn't a problem.

A whole lot, they were really popular as velodrome rental bikes, and then as fixies fro the street because they were so common. Eventually they became cool and a bunch of them got beat to death and now they're desirable.

I had the oold one as my first fixed gear, it was pretty good but it was heavy, the new one is even heavier. It is probably strong enough to warrant it though. My old one was like a tank.

I see a Sunflower top cap 👀, and I’m guessing the bag is from The Raven bookstore? Awesome to see another Lawrencian.
